Squirrelpaw walked into camp and headed over to the fresh kill pile where she carefully set the prey down. She raised her head and looked over at Cliffpaw.

Cliffpaw quickly dropped the prey in the prey pile as well. "How do you guys get so good at hunting?" the young fighter asked.

Rainstar wasn't sure if she just imagined that flash of emotion in Bluepaw's eyes or not. "Well I've been thinking it over. Your attitude has changed drastically since the fight and since you started helping Mildtail so I've decided to cut your punishment in half and if you and Mildtail are willing, you may become the medicine cat apprentice. Mildtail can reinstate you as a proper medicine cat with your true name." She dipped her head. "I feel you can only become a better cat from here and learn from your mistakes and humility.

Mildtail padded into the den with her tail swaying calmly from side to side. She was looking forward to having Bluefeather staying with her permanently. Though she knew that as a medicine cat apprentice, blufeatger would not be as free as she was. It troubled her to know and recognize the way both Hawkpaw and Cinderstripe looked at the she-cat. She approached Creampaw mid thought, "How are you feeling younge one? Sore throat? Stomach ache?"

she smiled "Thank you." she still wanted to unsheath her claws, but instead she walked over to the medicine cat den and sat down.

Whitemuzzle smiled at her "You would do that for me?"
