Yes. I, personally, do not condone naming kits after injuries/defects they have at birth.

Greenkit was named for her eyes, naturally, because Hunter can't remember that kits don't open their eyes right away, and even when they do, they're blue for a while.
Actually, it's mentioned in a couple of books that kits still have their eyes closed after they've been born for a few days, and they already have names. -20 consistency points.

Since I cannot find the plot of the arc, I think I know what is going to happen
the book is centered around sparkpaw, seeing how the book is called "The apprentices quest" and that the erins couldn't get rid of firestar so they made this garbage of a cat. Already I'm willing to PAY MONEY to get this book away from me. He is a normal apprentice with possibly Hollytuft a mentor. They find they are the reincarnated spirits of stupidprotaginist and hollyleaf(need a name for her...ideas?) (respectively) and the clan freaks out. The evil cats from Mapleshade's vengeance comes to try and train the protagonists and hollytuft for whatever freaking bad reason the erins decide on, but told not to listen by two kits in Starclan (HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM WHO COULD THAT BE) and then put their loyalty to the test and during that time 40 forbidden relationships happen. Sandstorm and Greystripe live to be very old and find out they are immortal and live forever.

I think the whole 'reincarnated spirits' thing could be kinda interesting...but if it's the Erins here, it's gonna be crap.
