"I'm sorry about that." Hawkstripe's voice turned more sympathetic, but almost hopeful, He must admit, He wanted to get close to Rabbitheart again. "I missed you."

"I missed you too..." Rabbitheart's voice softened up a bit. It quickly grew sharp again when she asked, "Where did you go?"

"Well... After you... breaking my heart... and Timberfall's death, I drew my own blood onto the ground to make it look like I was kidnapped and murdered." Hawkstripe explained to her. "Did you ever have kits?"

[Seasonal]

Rabbitheart padded off to her nest, signaling for Hawkstripe to follow. She tussled with it and made it thinner, but wide enough for two cats to fit. She lay down and motioned for him to sit down. "We need to talk. Yes, I did have kits..." Her voice trailed off.

Hawkstripe felt his heart sink. She had kits. Pushing it away, He replied "Talk? About what?" He remembered when him and Rabbitheart would sleep next to each other, only her warm fur would put him to sleep, our that sound of her soft breathing...

Grayheart settled in her nest, still feeling as happy as ever. By now, The news about Hawkstripe has spread through camp. Grayheart was so happy he came back.

Seeing Hawkstripe's sadness, Rabbitheart licked his cheek to comfort him. "Nothing to worry about. Look, Hawkstripe, I really hope that we can still be friends..." Rabbitheart knew that she secretly longed for more than that, but Hawkstripe could never know. No... he didn't trust her after what happened. He probably would never trust her.

"Friends... That sounds good enough. I hope maybe someday I'll find a cat... as perfect as you were." Hawkstripe realized his voice sounded too dissapointed. What was he DOING? She couldn't know he still loved her, She obviously didn't feel the same.

[Seasonal]

"Huh... yeah, same here." abbitheart felt her pelt frow hot with embarrassment. She lay her head down on the corner of her nest and closed her eyes. "Honestly, I... wish that they were ours, not mine and Echopelt's. They're fine kits indeed, but..." Rabbitheart felt herself growing even more guilty. "Hawkstripe, I still love you; I never stopped. I know that you don't feel the same, though." She turned her head away from him.

Hawkstripe's gaze intensifed, and he felt pure delight. "Rabbitheart... If that was the case, Why did you leave me hanging, and went back to Echopelt when he came back to life? I loved you more than anything in my life, I would have died 1000 painful deaths for you, and the way it was shattered when..." Hawkstripe felt his eyes water. "I love you too. I never stopped, Nothing can stop my love. It's too powerful."

(It's the most, wodnerful time of the year... There'll be much mistletoeing and friends will be calling when loved ones are nearrrrrrrrrr....)

[Seasonal]

"I made a mistake, Hawkstripe. Please forgive me..." Rabbitheart leaned towards Hawkstripe so that their pelts were touching. "Will you be my mate?"
