Jae was slow to answer. He wasn't sure what to say at first. "What happened today?!" His father grumbled, damanding an answer. "It was nothing dad. I just took too many pills." Jae answered timidly and glanced up at his father's face. He could see his eyes glowing red with anger and he averted his gaze. "And what is this animal smell?" He questioned.

She knew she couldn't hide anymore, yet stayed where she was as a slight fearful yip escaped her control, out her muzzle. She curled into a ball, slinking back further under the couch and out the other sid. As she slid out behind the couch, she glanced around a bit nervously, as she peeked out a little, from one side behind the couch.

He got out his phone and texted his mom.All of a sudden, someone bumped into him! Panicking, his wings opened and he crashed onto the ground." Omg, I'm so sorry!" He looked up and saw a girl above him.

Her gaze averted to him and she stared at his wings. Blinking her eyes, she helped him up." Uh, nice wings." She stammered, blushing with embarrassment.

Jace's eyebrow raised and he huffed, "I might melt you before you can even touch me." When they reached the cafe he knelt back down and gently let Finny off of his back. "Hmmm... Not sure if I'll have coffee this time..." He said with a big smile.

Jae's father caught a glimce of Kaiya and his expression darkened. "Why is there an animal in this house?!" He asked angrily, staring Jae down with his intense gaze. "Did you forget that you can't be around them?!" He growled. Jae shook his head and got up from the couch. He then Got down on his knees and gestured for Kaiya to come to him as if he was calling a pet dog.

"I would slam you into the ground three times from the top of a building before you could get near me." She chirped, sliding off his back and landing with a soft thump on the ground. "I'm not hungry. Or thirsty. I could go for tea, if they have it, though."

He looked away in fear of what she might do. Man, I am so stupid! He thought as he turned back to the girl.

Kentucky was just walking out of the cafe, when someone ran into her, making her spill her drink all over herself. She immediately drew a sharp, angered breath, and she closed her eyes, attempting to reign her anger under control. It wasn't good when she got angry. He looked up, seeing the hands on her watch go insane, as time slowed for her. She clenched her fist, rolling her shoulders, giving the person a dismissive "Sorry about that", while waving one hand. She sighed, looking at one of her favourite and most expensive dresses, ruined. And she didn't even have a towel.
