I don't really have many good memories from my early years here; I remember when I was new, people were constantly ripping me off in trades, like for example someone offered me 40 very common pets for my list malk dragon and of course I accepted back then, with no knowledge of either rarity or trading, and also very poor knowledge in English. I also remember how I got a drawing of mine featured, only to receive comments like "that doesn't deserve to be featured" and other people linking to other drawings of owls saying things like "THIS is how you draw real owls " Dx luckily we have a lot of awesome mods here who fixed everything c:

But, the times have changed, I've grown as a person and in understandings of the trading system and everything. Through 2011-2013, i had many periods where i didn't visit chicken smoothie that much; the whole year of 2013 I was basically inactive, same goes for mid-2012 and 2011. I never stayed for any of the summer events xD but, in 2014 I finally got the interest back for chicken smoothie, and I have wasted much, much time on here the past year and a half. And I don't regret it.

Lately I've gotten a lot of good memories. The best one probably has to be how I met my very best internet friends last summer: metallicar and fawkes. It's quite a funny story. It started with simple PM's; I contacted metallicar because of her beautiful, supernatural based signature xD and so we started talking, which quickly escalated to amazing gift exchanges; she gifted me pets to help me receive my dreamie (the raven) and I gifted her pets, and we kinda "hunted" pets for each other. Since she lived on the other side of the planet compared to me, I remember staying up till 5am some summer nights, only so I could talk to her.

Later on, she introduced me to a site called Advanced Scribes, and that was the start of an extremely wonderful journey. On there, I got into role playing, and me and metallicar role played there while pm'ing each other here on CS. On AS I met with another amazing person; fawkes., who became my best friend over there, and we also started talking a whole lot. And after talking to each other for quite some time, we discovered a rather wierd connection: fawkes. and metallicar had been good friends for a long time on CS, me and fawkes were friends on AS, and metallicar and I were friends here on CS. So, basically: my two best friends were best friends with each other already. What a strange coincidence! It really shows how small the internet world is cx

We then formed our own little "trio", and we three still talk to each other almost daily, we have a whole lot of fun, late night talks about nothing and everything. They're my best internet friends, maybe even by best friends, not only talking about the internet. I have no idea what I'd do without them. And all this happened because of a small PM to a random person here on Chicken Smoothie.

Lol - I'll admit I haven't heard that version of the naming story yet myself! It's great to see how far this site has come. :)

I didn't join until 2012 but I was first introduced to the site by my sister back in 2010 - if only I'd joined then lol! I've had an incredible three years here now though and I couldn't imagine where I'd be if it weren't for the help of so many amazing users around here. :) I've made more friends than I could count and I love coming online every day to see familiar faces - even of users I don't really ever talk to. :) It's incredible to see how far we've come and I am so glad that we still have such a fantastic community of talented artists, brilliant writers, coding wizards, clever pet-dress-up-ers, and so much more!

My fondest CS memory has to be around the time I joined, I think it was back '10 and I started roleplaying here (I had been roleplaying before on Foopets, or whatever it was called, and a little on Howrse is some center forums. I had started a 1x1 with Horselover! and we're still talking 5 years later! And the same roleplay is going still xD How? I shall never know.

My first memory of this site was when I stayed the night at my cousin's house. She got on the computer and started playing online, visiting a few boring sites until she visited this one, which drew my attention almost immediately. About a month later she helped me make an account, which I promptly lost access to until a year or two later.

My worst memory was when I first started, I accidentally traded some rare pets for some commons, not knowing any better until later... I didn't even really like the ones I got...

Hmm... My best memory. Hard choice. I'm gonna pick two: The time somebody gifted me my dream pet,the narwhal guinea pig, which was actually quite recently, and right after I joined, when somebody (I forgot to take note of their username) gave me three free pets, from the last year to help me get started on CS. Of course, it didn't actually help with anything, as I ended up putting them all in a special group and I still refuse to ever trade them, but it was nice.

I certainly don't have a worst memory, CS has been amazing for the last about 2.5 years.

Weirdest memory though, I'll say that. Way back in 2013, I joined a roleplay. This was before fandom-based roleplays and fantasy roleplay were separate, so you just had to hope what you were joined wasn't based on something you'd never heard of. The roleplay was kind of weird, but I didn't notice much. It ended up dying out pretty quickly though, so it wasn't that important. Then, earlier this year, I checked a book out from the library called 'Gone' and the first few paragraphs seemed oddly familiar. Somehow I managed to connect the familiar book to the roleplay from two years ago, and realized that the roleplay was fandom-based and I had never noticed. I'm certainly glad the roleplay boards were separated!

I'd have to say my best memories were when my friends and I were the most active on the site. We roleplayed like crazy (hilarious to look back on) traded and collected pets for each other, and had a really great time. Unfortunately, they were really the only things that kept me on the site, and after one of them quite CS, we all just...drifted away from it. So I suppose that was the "worst" memory I have of CS - the fact that I stopped being very active.

I've been here since shortly after the site began, and unfortunately, my biggest regret is tied to that time, because I created my account, got some pets, then stopped logging in for a while and thus.. I missed out on a lot of the older pets I wish I had gotten back then.

My best memories are of Chianya and Bullet giving me my dream pet, my Joker, and of trading with my daughter and my friends here. I don't log on as much as I used to, and I admit I'm pretty disconnected these days, but I still have a very fond feeling for the site and all the people I knew way back when.

Here's to 7 more years!
