"Bluepaw." Rainstar growled standing in front of the blue-furred she-cat, keeping her from Ravensong. "If you do not explain yourself I will be forced to kick you out! The medicine cat can tend to Ravensong, you need to come to my den."

Squirrelpaw looked into Cliffpaw's eyes and nodded. "I'm with you." She whispered back.

Ravensong looked up at Fangscar and smiled. "Thanks Fangscar." She said kindly then looked at the herbs. She pushed them away like it was mold. "I don't trust you." She said.

Fawnstep had returned to camp with her hunting patrol about mid-way throught he clan meeting, plentiful with fresh-kill, and she was not happy with what she saw. The she-cat was a little upset that so many strangers were being allowed into her home without much question or deliberation, all in one day. It wasn't that she didn't like the growth of the clan, that was fine. What she didn't appreciate was that they all acted so casual about it. Not only that, but some of them would just lounge around in the sun or leave camp without any kind of permission from either Rainstar or their mentors. Speaking of apprentices, where was Squirrelpaw? Fawnstep wanted to get a hold of the she-cat and start up with her training again, they'd been falling behind a little lately.

Fogpelt was a little less than happy about the newcomers, but he was definitely more willing to give them a chance than a lot of his clan mates, that he knew for sure. The hostility and suspicion hung in the air like a thick fog on a Leaf-fall morning. He didn't like it, this wasn't how the clan was supposed to feel. It should be a safe place for everyone, but were these strangers going to put that safety in danger? He wasn't sure. He was sure, though, that Cliffpaw would not be one of the cats to break that peace. Fogpelt would keep that cat out of trouble, even if it killed him. And obviously that was possible with the way Bluepaw had just attacked Ravensong, this was getting out of hand.

Cedarshade wanted badly to talk to Rainstar once things calmed down a little. This was getting way out of hand...- Suddenly he heard Rainstar's snarl ring above all of the other noises in camp, he turned around watching the scene unfold in front of him. 'There was never fighting in the clan until they showed up...' he growled low in his throat, Bluepaw was gonna get an earful for this one.

Squirrelpaw nodded and noticed Bluepaw was leaving. She quickly leaped in the way, blocking her way to Rainstar. "Just a sec, I wanna talk." She told her, her expression unreadable like always.

"Rainstar is going to claw my ears off if i stay to talk to you." she said gently, a flash of motherly warmth in her eyes

Rainstar sat down inside her den and waited for Bluepaw to do the same. Her tabby fur was still bristling from the incident that had just occurred. She liked to think of herself as a fair cat, but this was getting seriously out of paw.
