Squirrelpaw felt a wave of annoyance hit her as Bluefeather stood there like she was the most important cat you'd ever meet. She made a rather loud 'tch' sound out of anger and disappointment.

Ravensong heard the 'tch' sound and had to agree with whoever made it. She turned her gaze to the newcomer she-cat and called out. "Be rid of the collar! No warrior wears such things!"

Creampaw padded around camp with Mousepaw. They looked at Oakpaw eating some fresh kill and snickered. They crept up on him and pounced. Oakpaw let out a mrrrow of surprise and started to tackle back, flinging his sisters off of him. He walked away into camp, leaving two tussling sisters giggling and pawing at each other. He shook his head and padded back to camp. He saw a new cat, or at least one he hadn't met, and crept closer( Bluefeather). He saw the collar and sat down, tilting his head, and and asked," Kittypet?" Oakpaw saw other cats watching her fearfully, but he wasn't scared of her, and he didn't judge. He had been a kittypet as a kit, or he thought he was. Oakpaw had been thrown out of a monster with his sisters by a cruel twoleg. The accident had given him his blinded eye. He was found by the clan at the side of the road in a muddy twoleg box as a kit with his sisters, collars around their neck. He had been judged for a while, until the they had all kind of... forgotten about him. He still saw cats giving him dirty looks, but he didn't mind.

she looked at him flashing him a look of warmth seeing he wasn't saying it hostilly. "I will wear it."

Ravensong stood up, anger flashing in her blue eyes. "Then leave! We have no need for cats such as yourself!" She snapped back. She couldn't believe this cat. Ravensong refused to have the clan she cherished be disgraced because some snobby she-cat wanted to act like she was so great.

"Then I hearby give you your new clan names. Bluefeather, you will be known as Bluepaw until you have proven yourself as a warrior of this clan. Jinx, you will be called Hawkpaw." Rainstar paused to think of who to assign as the cats' mentors. "Ravensong, you are a kind and determined warrior. You shall be assigned as Hawkpaw's mentor. Though he is older than most apprentices he needs someone to show him the ropes and introduce him to clan life. The tabby leader scanned the crowd of cats. Bluepaw seemed she might be hard to handle judging from the hostility she had just stirred up. She'd take her if she hadn't already had an apprentice. "Cedarshade. You are a wise and loyal member of this clan. See to it that Bluepaw adjusts to life in her new clan as her mentor." If what Bluepaw had said about being in a clan was true, then she didn't need a mentor so much as someone to make sure she wouldn't stir up trouble. Rainstar figured the she-cat wouldn't take too kindly to a mentor younger than her either. She narrowed her eyes, the collar would be dealt with later though.

"And i have no need for someone telling me what to wear." she retorted calmly. she got up and walked over to a patch of sunlight. she groomed her paws. she wasn't stuck up, but she stood her ground.

Hawkpaw nodded. He gazed the crowd, still feeling pretty nervous, looking for Ravensong. Then leaned over and puked.
