The tom padded over to the clearing in front of the tree where Rainstar was perched. Cedarshade silently sat back on his haunches, some of his tension releasing. He was a little more relaxed now, but he still did not trust these strangers in his home. He was especially worried about the collared one. She seemed too confident, especially in front of an entire clan of cats.

"These two have come here to join the clan. But to do this they will first be given apprentice names as well as mentors. Jinx. Bluefeather. Do you wish to join MarshClan and train to become warriors?" She sat with her tail curled around her paws waiting for the strangers affirmation. They had already said that they wanted to join, but now they must do so in front of her clan.

Squirrelpaw sat near the front, her posture straight and tall. Her expression was as unreadable as ever but inside her head thoughts swirled. She glanced up at the newcomer she-cat but she looked at her leader right after, as though looking at Bluefeather caused her disgust. She heard Thornclaw behind her but didn't look back. "The male calls himself Jinx and the female calls herself Bluefeather. She was once a Riverclan cat." She replied.

Tigerstrike noticed what Squirrelpaw did but said nothing. He watched his leader with a stern gaze and a look o seriousness.

Ravensong heard all the commotion from outside and padded out of the nursery. She noticed two rouges standing beside her leader and became suspicious. She padded over to where the rest of the clan had gathered and sat, staring up at the two newcomers with a gaze cold as ice.

Jinx stared at all the clan cats. He suddenly felt weak, dizzy, and scared and he looked down at the dirt.
