The tabby she-cat thought for a moment. If what the collared she-cat said was true, then she came from a long way away from here. There were no other clans in the immediate area that she knew of, none that shared MarshClan's borders at least. Jinx seemed okay. A bit timid, but hopefully he would warm up to them. "I will allow you to join under probation as apprentices. To both learn the ways of our clan and to earn our trust." Rainstar flicked her tail at the cat with the collar. "You still have not told me your name yet."

Squirrelpaw padded up beside Rainstar, not caring about what the other had to say about an apprentice walking up there without permission. She eyes the two with an unreadable expression as always. Her ear flicked after a few short seconds but she said nothing and kept staring.

Tigerstrike stayed back with the others, eyeing the strangers with curiousity and slight suspicion. He looked over the both of them and knew the wouldn't be a threat. Tigerstrike smiled warmly and he padded up to them. "Welcome to MarshClan. I'm Tigerstrike." He greeted warmly, not liking all the tension in the air and hoping to ease it.

Jinx nodded. "Sure thing ... ummm ..." he stared at Rainstar blankly.

Rainstar nodded her head curtly and turned towards her den. She jumped onto the tree and settled herself on the lowest branch. "Let all cats old enough to swim in the marsh gather here for a clan meeting! We have two outsiders here that wish to join the ranks of MarshClan."

Jinx swallowed nervously. A-Am I doing this? For reals? Moons before I-I wouldn't have even ... what if no one here accepts me? He glanced over to Bluefeather and followed her quickly.

Squirrelpaw noticed the warmth that flashed through the eyes of the one who called herself Bluefeather. She glanced up at Tigerstrike as he introduced himself and sighed softly. She turned to face the newcomers once more then with a flick of her tail, turned and left, disappearing behind the large crowd.

Tigerstrike watched Squirrelpaw go then chuckled nervously while looking at the two as though to say sorry. His ears pricked at his leaders call and he became serious. Tigerstrike turned and followed the rest of the clan.
