I'm not here to hate or anything, but I have a question:
What made Steven Universe so suddenly popular in the first place? The show came out last year I think, and had no hype at all, but recently I've been seeing lots of stuff about it and have wondered how it suddenly grew fame. Can anyone please tell me what made it so popular all of a sudden? Thank you for any responses!

The characters, the story, the music...

Possibly the fact that it's one of the 2 shows on Cartoon Network with a purpose? Adventure Time got confusing for some people.
