She opened the front door and slammed it shut. "Mom!" no reply. Of course her mom wasn't here. She rarely was. In her room, she flung her backpack across the room and walked out. She headed outside and walked to the coffee shop. She ordered a latte and saw a girl sitting in a booth. Feeling lonely, she sat down on the seat in front of her." Hi, I'm Skylar." She said, smiling at the girl. She looked about 15 or 16, not much younger than her.

Personality: "Well, why don't you meet me? Or would it be too horribly unbearable?" Kentucky is a sly, sneaky girl, quick to find things out and get what she wants, but has low self esteem. She's snide and sarcastic, she always speaks her mind, no matter who it is she's talking to. She's very intelligent, gifted even, and is often quite bored if she doesn't have some activity to do, mostly various experiments that at times get her in trouble. She's a tomboy, rough and tumble, and never minds to get her hands dirty, or doing things the hard way.She can just as easily be a friend as an enemy, and to be on the safe side, you may not want to anger her. She is fiercely protective and caring of friends, but she is fully cold hearted to enemies or threats, not taking kindly to being backstabbed or betrayed. She's not naive, though at times she can seem like she is, and loves conducting experiments and tests, which is why she'd spend most of her time in a laboratory. Her trust has to be earned not bought, as well as her respect, but she is usually the one bossing others around. She's good at thinking on her feet, as well as getting herself into trouble, and is quite the adrenaline junkie, often risking her life without a second thought. Truth be told, she's quite lonesome, and worsens it by pushing others away, thinking everyone will hurt her in the end, and you should run very quickly if you do.
History/Backstory: "Go away." Kentucky dislikes talking about her history, but she may tell you if she really trusts you. First of all, she was not at all born in Kentucky, instead she is from New Brunswick, Canada. She was pretty much born in an Adoption home, never knowing her real mother. She was adopted by a rich couple, but was only truly wanted by the woman, the man never cared about her, and was less than friendly to her. She spent her time in her room, or outside, staying away from the house as much as possible. As she grew older and they moved from house to house, and sometimes jumped to different Countries, her family began getting stressed, and she wouldn't have been surprised if her parents divorced. She ran away at fourteen, and once again ended up in adoption centre, where she stayed and probably will until she's eighteen. She's gotten used to it, and most of her time is spent outdoors, observing things, or simply sitting there and drawing, one of her favourite passtimes. She wears glasses, because she's half blind in her right eye. She's already in her last year of school, and wishes she could skip it entirely. She's often felt out of place
Appearance:

Kentucky has long, coal black hair that falls in waves as if freshly curled. She stands at 5'9 tall with long legs, making her a fast runner. She weighs about 120 lbs, with a slim, femininely muscular hourglass figure. Her waist is small, curving out to full hips. Her long hair that she usually keeps down to her waist is usually kept up in a pony-tail, or loose down her shoulders, framing her soft emerald shaped face. Otherwise, it's tied in a braid. Her eyes are a dark blue-ish gray, at times appearing a navy blue color in the right lighting. She has pale skin, and full lips, making her quite attractive. She does look much older than her actual age, sometimes mistaken for being mid-twenties.
