Obviously, I'm elfish, but feel free to call me el, elf, or elfy - I really don't have a preference c: I am in the Pacific Time Zone, so keep that in mind if when waiting for replies. I don't mind at all if you live in a different Time Zone, though! I am also a student, so my day will usually be busy. However, I still find time to make replies (especially on the weekends). I consider myself a high semi lit to low lit player, depending on what I'm given to work with. I usually mirror replies, unless I have tons of muse and time that day. I also have an AS account, so if you'd like to roleplay there, then just ask.

⋆ Literacy is key. I want good grammar - it doesn't have to be perfect, but at least allow me to understand what you are trying to convey. Several typos are totally fine, though. I also want two paragraphs, minimum. More is always preferred and appreciated, but I understand if you can only do two.
⋆ This kind of branches off of the first rule - I don't care if your posts are not coded to perfection; I care for its content.
⋆ Consistent replies. You should be able to reply at least twice a week unless you have notified me otherwise. And, of course, I will do the same for you.
⋆ Etiquette. Be kind and fair; please help when deciding on a certain plot twist or whatever!
⋆ It would be nice if you didn't mind a little ooc (I like to talk, hehe), but if you don't prefer it then I don't mind.

I'm looking for a partner to a very specific roleplay (I have the plot mostly figured out, but welcome suggestions)
Here's the quick rundown of the plot (please excuse any rough edges, just trying to get this down because I'm excited):

First day of freshman/sophmore year of college, and the characters are living together. No shared history, completely blank slate. After a few weeks, one of the roommates starts to come home with bruises, scratches, burns, ect (signs that he's been fighting). Eventually, the roommate questions it, and finds out the other does some sort of martial arts, though the other roommate is curious. Eventually, these injuries stop, but the roommate is often tired or complains of being sore most of the time. One evening the roommate follows him to a sort of underground fighting club sort of idea, except the fighters have tattoos that give them special abilities in the ring to help them fight, and almost anything is fair game. The roommate finds out his living partner is fighting in these in order to get money to pay for college. (From here we can take it that he a) goes out drinking with the roommate after, drunkenly gets a tattoo with powers, and then has to learn how to control it and figure out whether or not he wants to fight or b)gets involved with the underground world because of the money and becomes a tattoo artist. I'd personally prefer a but I'm open to working with b, perhaps a combination of both!) I would play the roommate who has already established himself in the underground fighting world.

I am a mature, semi-lit roleplayer. As you can see, I'm not big on fancy posts. I try to post at least once per day, and I'm in the EST time zone. I try to post at least one paragraph, but when I get excited I can post more than two, and I try to match posts. I have mostly correct spelling and grammar, and I'll give you a heads up if I'm not going to be around/post for a few days.

I'd like for you to be a semi-lit roleplayer and post at least once every two days. I would like some sort of warning if you're going to disappear (ie it's a busy schoolweek with tests and such, or you're going to be traveling, ect...) or if you plan on dropping the thread. I'm looking for a mature individual who doesn't mind touching on queer topics (they would not be a central part of the roleplay, but it would be something mentioned in passing, as my character would be gay, but not involved with your character). I'm also looking for someone who is comfortable discussing the plot and future events/what is going to happen next with the characters, as it helps steer the story a bit more!

Greetings humans. I am .Taguel. and am always looking for a onexone.
I am in the central timezone area and am on mostly during the
weekend and sometimes on a weekday. I'm a really busy person with
archery, classes, work, etc. I can at least post once a week. But
I'm on a lot so I usually reply fast. Well, I'm on mobile all the time
so I might take a little slow on forms and posts if they're long
or fancy. When I do get on the computer they'll be much quicker
and prettier. c; But my internet sucks as well... I can play either
gender, although I prefer girls. To make it fair, I usually double up.
I am straight so only mxf for me. I love to roleplay, it's
a great way for me to practice writing! I can write from three to
eight lines, and if I'm on high muse it can go up to
twenty. When I go overboard (rarely) I can write up to thirty lines
(or more c;) with vivid detail. I usually mirror your posts though. I'm
very creative and love to add drama to spice things up a bit and
come
up with a fun plot. I'm SUPER friendly and love to chat in OOC a lot.
I follow the forum rules. My grammar and spelling are fine, but like
I said before, I'm on mobile so I may make a mistake here or
there. My fingers type fast and the letters don't always appear
because I
typed them to fast. Other than that it's decent. I will say crap,
that's it. I don't cuss. I will notify you if I will be
absent or want to quit ( which usually I don't unless I get

• Anything supernatural.
I thought it would be kind of neat to do a role play with a normal character and a character with some sort of power. (It can be anything, really.) Character with power needs help from normal character to escape from someone who wants to exploit their abilities. I can play either one, maybe with a slight preference for the normal character.

I also have a huge love for cryptids and think it'd be super fun to have a role play in which our characters investigate rumors of some kind of creature in their town? Not really a formal investigation, just kids with flashlights and video cameras searching for something that may or may not exist. Just for kicks. What happens next is up for discussion.

Ghosts and spirits are also kinda fun! Role play where a living character befriends a ghost? Good. Role play where our characters get tossed into some kind of spirit world? Good. Let's get creative with this one! :D
• Slice-of-life.
High school, boarding school, summer vacation—stuff like that. Unfortunately this gets mundane pretty fast so I'd like if we could discuss new ideas somewhat regularly.
• Certain fandoms.
Only with OCs, using a canon setting. Of course there will probably be mentions of canon characters, and I'd even be cool with having them appear once or twice, but for the most part I prefer using original characters. I'd be interested in an Avatar: The Last Airbender role play or something with the Ginga series. I can also do Dragon Age: Origins and Pokemon (trainers) although I'm not as well-versed in the Pokemon universe as I could be so please be patient!
• Some animals.
Most of my characters double as animals! I'm a little rusty but I really like role playing dogs—stray dog befriends wolf, domestic dog befriends stray dog, something like that. I don't have any solid plots in mind for this one so feel free to pitch me an idea!
• Romance.
You may have noticed a theme here. I do like my role plays to involve romance; that just makes it more interesting for me. My main character is a bisexual girl so you can play whatever gender you'd like; she veers more toward ladies but men and nonbinary/trans characters are all fine too. C:

(Also, not to imply that we can't do hetero romance because we absolutely can, but if you're not cool with homosexuality in general please don't PM me. That makes me uncomfy and you probably won't like my characters.)

what you can expect


• At least two paragraphs per post, if not more, unless it's a
slow or dialogue-heavy scene.

• At least one reply every other day. I'll let you know if I won't
be able to reply for a while; I'm still a student and I work part
time so I may have to disappear for a bit but I think I'm in a
place now where this won't happen very often.

• No pretty posts, no pretty forms. I'd rather focus on writing
than coding.

• A fun, well-developed main character and a menagerie of
background characters to bring in if need be, all of which are
very versatile and can fit into almost any setting.
what I expect


• A post I can respond to. You don't have to write me a novel,
but give me something to work with and I'll do the same.

• A good grasp of spelling and grammar.

• Please no one-dimensional characters.

• Preferably one or two replies per week, at least. Please
notify me if you'll be away for a long period of time.

• Be willing to discuss the details of the plot with me both
before and during the role play. Scheming with my partner
is my favorite part, and I really enjoy live chats if that's
something you're up for. :D
