"I will come with you," Za'ji said, " but not now. I'll be fine, I can handle myself even without my weapons. Just don't wait too long, I don't want them to actually break me. When you see the entire outpost head for the mountains, come in and get me. Can you do that?"

"No I can not. You heard Zach we won't be able to save you once your inside." Katarina said

"Yes, you will," Za'ji said, growing impatient again. "The garrison will be gone, I'll be breaking out from the inside, there shouldn't be more than a token resistance for you to fight. I'll be fine, so long as you hurry. I've planned it all out, it's foolproof." Which was a lie, she was still working out the kinks, but the Listener didn't have to know that. "Don't worry about me, worry about what'll happen if the guards catch you all here."

"You can't lie to me Za'ji." Katarina said. She was losing her temper.

"Look, Kat," Za'ji said, sitting up and folding her arms. All this pointless arguing was giving her a migraine, and she was rather annoyed with her superior now. "I've been on the road all day, and I'm tired. Either kill me now, or leave and go find an inn so you can follow me in the morning. I'm not letting you break me out yet, and that's final. Now good night, I'm going to bed."

'This is just getting tedious,' Zachariah thought, crossing his arms over his chest. "Look, how about we reach an agreement here. Kat, she needs to be punished or whatever, right? Well, she will be - when she dies, pretty much she will suffer in the Void for the rest of eternity for breaking one of the Tenets if she goes through with this. So let's just allow her this one little thing. Then we can all go home and be happy, 'ay?" he said.
This was a terrible way to get them to agree, but he really was feeling bothered by the conflict. "And Kat, if you don't agree, well, I can just force her to come with us," he shrugged.

"..... Very well Zachariah...." Katarina said. "We shall go...." Katarina left. She disappeared before anyone could follow her.

"Za'ji please." Za'zah said.

"Sorry, Za'zah," Za'ji said, her expression softening a bit. "Guess you'll just have to pretend to the be my husband for a little bit longer. Remember, when the Penitus Oculatus goes out, you all go in. If that isn't enough, I'll try to perform the Black Sacrament, hopefully Kat will get that. Now go, I don't think my plan'll work if I have to watch you get tortured so I'll talk."
