I LOGGED ON AND WAS LOOKING FOR AN EGG ON THE POUND PAGE WHEN IT SAID 'LESS THAN A MINUTE' AND THIS WAS THE FIRST PET AND I ACTUALLY GOT IT!!!

That is very odd! The exact same thing happened to me three or four days ago! He's in my signature and was the first pet for me as well! Weird.

I clicked on the pound in the last few seconds of it being open and there was literally one pet left-- a rat. I clicked on him, but he was already taken and the pound closed. Darn. xD

He's not the "rarest" pet you can find, but I made a hard decision of either choosing him, or clicking the "give me a new set of pets" button to try and search for older pets. I'm glad I stuck with my first choice, because I love his colors and I just couldn't let him go. <3
