Idk I just click on my dragons and the cave and find eggs XD

Easter eggs or regular eggs? The Easter eggs can be found randomly around the site. Regular eggs... just go through the different biomes and AR until you find something you want or breed your dragons. Really, there is no "best method".

what is the best method of getting eggs?

If you mean Easter eggs, my method is to refresh a biome since its a small page with not much to load. It makes finding eggs really quick and easy.
