What they found inside was astounding. Cat-like creatures with feathery soft fur greeted them, and
each cat seemed to have a rock-like substance embedded in thier skin. The kids saw this and were
instantly reminded of rock candy. They smuggled a male and female creature out, and thus the
species began.
Rock Candi Kats are fairly small, growing only as big as a small housecat. (Though in some very rare
cases, large Kats have been found.) The creatures were named Rock Candi Kats, or Candi's, by the
kids who found them and the name stuck. The peices of 'rock candy' in thier skin can be anything from
candy, to glass,stars, metal, and jewels. However, each of these things is edible, and the Candi's tend to shed
them once a year. Candi's can have many differnt kinds of tails and ears,and most always have a tuft of hair
on thier hear. Hair edits are rare. They mate for life, but are allowed to 'separate' and take a differnt mate
if an issue arises. A typical litter is one kit, but sometimes two are born.
