"Sherlock never even said a word about not being a virgin, so either he was indifferent to the entire 'relationship' with your mother, or he grew to have feelings for her. Obviously it's not the first choice, as the vast majority of people who meet Sherlock label him a 'freak' and I highly doubt that a mother would want her child to grow up with a man like that, father or no. She told you about him because she trusted him to take care of you after she died; bad choice in my opinion, he's a bit of a wildcard. So you found out where he lives and came here hoping that he'd take you in. Well, you're in luck."

Molly walked around the cold, metal slab, taking mental notes and speaking quietly into the voice recorder. She hadn't seen Sherlock for a while.

The young girl looked up at her slightly confused. "I-I am?" She said not wishing to add a few more details to the women's words.

She nodded her head, with a small, hopefully kind, smile. "Indeed. I'm Sherlock's sister, therefore if he is going to be too much of a pain in the backside, then I can take you in for the time being. I don't live far away."

Of course Selene didn't particularly want to take this little girl in, but Sherlock was irresponsible and could hardly take care of himself, so it seemed the better option. "I don't currently have a job, but I have money and a spare room."

"I don't," she replied shortly, with an edge to her tone of voice. "However, Sherlock can be reckless, irresponsible and...unpredictable," she glanced at the battered wall close to them both. "He would poison you for an experiment. I experiment; I'm just more moral than him. You'd be safer with me."

The young girl looked at the woman as she spoke and suddenly felt like a burden. She got up placing the cup on the table. "Thank you for your hospitality Miss but I don't wish to be a burden." She said softly and politely. She turned and walked out of the building with a few small tears in her eyes.
