Fawnstep || She-cat || 37 moons || In the clearing || Tags: //OPEN
Fawnstep woke up to the sun shining not-so-brightly in her eyes. An agitated grumble escaped her lips as she sat up carefully, trying not to disturb her brother. As her pelt rubbed gently against his, the only sign of any disturbace she may have caused was a loud, obnoxious snore. A chorus of annoyed groans rose from the surrounding cats who were still asleep. Fawnstep immediately lost her sense of respect for her brother's slumber and gave him a rough kick with her hind leg. She then proceeded to get up and leave, not wanting to be around for Fogpelt's incessant complaining.

Fogpelt was awoken quite abruptly from his peaceful sleep by a harsh kick to the back of his head. He hissed in annoyance and slowly sat up, shaking his head and already sulking over the slight throb that was starting to occur. "You're a real nasty piece of fox-dung Fawnstep, ya know that?" he whined as the she-cat left the den without even a look over her shoulder. All he could manage to think with his throbbing headache was a very strong-worded, I hate her.

Cedarshade had been up since much earlier that morning. He wasn't able to sleep too soundly for too long anymore, so he often went out into the woods to go on walks by himself. He was returning to camp a little earlier this time, the strain on his hind leg beginning to get to him. Not only that, but the heat and humidity were starting to tick him off too. His black pelt soaked up the heat like a sponge, and it cooked the poor tom. He growled to himself in frustration, "I'm gettin' real sick and tired of feeling my age..." As he proceeded into camp, he tried a little harder to hide the limp that plagued his leg, and took a seat in a shadier spot to, hopefully, cool down and get some relief from the heat.
