Hello! I am Strex., but you can call me Aslette if you wish. This is my first time roleplaying on Chicken Smoothie, but I do have several years of experience roleplaying on Tumblr.
I'm obviously here to find roleplay partners, so I'm going to keep this pretty simple:

What I don't do:
Hunger Games or Twilight settings
Historical settings that aren't the early or mid 1900s.
Arranged marriage
Any sort of wolf/horse/dog/cat/etc

Some things to keep in mind:
I absolutely adore Welcome to Night Vale, specifically, Strex, so I am always happy to do those
I don't care if you match my post length all the time. Quality over quantity.
I do tend to write really long replies.
I prefer playing adult characters.
I am much more inclined to play "dark" characters- not evil magicians and whatnot, but people who are just generally manipulative, rude, narcissistic, etc
I am okay with romance, just run it by me first.
I'm dying to do something with sort of a Bonnie and Clyde theme to it!

Greetings humans. I am .Taguel. and am always looking for a onexone.
I am in the central timezone area and am on mostly during the
weekend and sometimes on a weekday. I'm a really busy person with
archery, classes, work, etc. I can at least post once a week. But
I'm on a lot so I usually reply fast. Well, I'm on mobile all the time
so I might take a little slow on forms and posts if they're long
or fancy. When I do get on the computer they'll be much quicker
and prettier. c; But my internet sucks as well... I can play either
gender, although I prefer girls. To make it fair, I usually double up.
I am straight so only mxf for me. I love to roleplay, it's
a great way for me to practice writing! I can write from three to
eight lines, and if I'm on high muse it can go up to
twenty. When I go overboard (rarely) I can write up to thirty lines
(or more c;) with vivid detail. I usually mirror your posts though. I'm
very creative and love to add drama to spice things up a bit and
come
up with a fun plot. I'm SUPER friendly and love to chat in OOC a lot.
I follow the forum rules. My grammar and spelling are fine, but like
I said before, I'm on mobile so I may make a mistake here or
there. My fingers type fast and the letters don't always appear
because I
typed them to fast. Other than that it's decent. I will say crap,
that's it. I don't cuss. I will notify you if I will be
absent or want to quit ( which usually I don't unless I get
bored of the house, you're not meeting my expectations, etc.)
I prefer forum threads and am very committed to the onexone.

◈ I am awkward to start but enjoy getting to know new people.
◈ I am a mirror post. If you provide a one-liner, I will offer the same. If you post several paragraphs, I will attempt a similar length. I usually do roleplays with uniformly shorter replies but longer posts are lovely.
◈ My writing quality is probably a steady medium. I write with careful, though not impeccable, grammar and spelling. I consider myself experienced in punctuation, spelling, grammar, and generally being intelligible when I write.
◈ I am on less often than usual. My life is hectic lately but I'm trying to be on more often. I should be able to reply at least once a week but any day I am on I should be able to reply multiple times. Expect at least a few posts a week. Most times, if I'm online, I can reply almost immediately.
◈ I don't do a lot of formatting. I do enjoy formatting, on occasion, but perspective partners should understand I don't always have the time or drive to.
◈ I will play any gender, gender identity, or sexuality to the best of my abilities.
◈ I love creating characters and forms specific to roleplays. It takes me a long time, but I believe it helps me grow my skills as a writer and roleplayer, and even sometimes in basic programming.
◈ I usually like to have more than one character, but single characters are fine, too.
◈ I do not play established characters. I'm terrible at it and I know I am. That means no canon characters, I'm afraid.
◈ I'd like to help in the creation of a plot and premise. I think working together in the start is a good way to learn about my partners and make sure we're both pleased with the roleplay. I tend to be less dominant over plot and things and will generally ask for my partner's opinion on all decisions.
◈ I prefer to roleplay in forums and discuss in OOC simultaneously in either a separate thread or PM.
◈ I rarely play animal characters, unless they are, say, pets of a humanoid. I'm not opposed to it, though, given an interesting premise.

◈ I'm looking for a partner that ◈
◈ Someone who posts at least once a week should satiate me.
◈ Is open to conversation, friendly, and generally pleasant. Roleplaying with people who are rude is never fun.
◈ Will help me cultivate a world as well as a friendship~ Not required, I suppose, but certainly very nice.
◈ Will match my number of characters. I have had experiences in which I was asked to play many roles while my partner played only one, which really is too much work.
◈ Will notify me if they lose interest or will cease posting for a time. I'll offer any partner that courtesy and I'd like for it to be returned.
◈ Has legible writing. I don't require any particular post length or style, I only ask that text chat, swearing, and grammar and spelling mistakes be monitored and kept to a medium.
◈ Preferably, but not necessarily, writes around one paragraph per post in third person. More is fine, as is a little less. At least a few sentences.

◈ As to romance, I adore it~ It isn't great for holding a roleplay for very long on its own, but it is a more than welcome, generally necessary to keep my interest, inclusion.
◈ I will play any pairing, including but not limited to the ever popular MxM, MxF, & FxF pairings.
I will also play any kind of LGBTQIA/non-binary gender ships.
◈ I have no gender pairing preference; they're all fun to me and I'm willing to play either part.
◈ I'd also like to mention that I love the classic forbidden (or at least mildly discouraged) romance. At the same time, I'd rather not go into the Romeo and Juliet type tragedy. Simply having two characters who are not classically paired is enough.

► Be kind! I know that once in a while, there's a reason behind being mad or upset or something, but just don't sass me all the time without at least trying to tell me what's wrong.
►DO NOT force me to go outside of my comfort zone with playing male characters. I'd be okay with it if you said you wanted me to take a shot at it, but if you come right out and say I HAVE to do it, no questions asked, I won't do it. Because obviously, that's a sign that you didn't read through my post, since I've tried playing males multiple times, but I just can't do it.
