Rubies and sapphires are the gem varieties of corundum.
A tough and stable mineral, the name describes an aspect of this rare gem.
Rose, a well-known flower, is a symbol of love and beauty.
Here, it symbolizes nobility and elegance. Gender:♀Three word personality: Unorthodox,
Subtle, and

Her whole design screams personality: the intricacy of the lace, the subtlety of the transitions between the deeper and the bright red, all of these put together. She's hard to resist and easy to fall in love with.
She is distinct,
hence the 'the' I keep on adding. I really can't explain it.
She is a muse.
Though I really am not very good at art and will probably not be visibly active, I can say that she really does inspire art and creativity. Her design calls for attention to detail and care, two things that I will strive to give. She deserves it.

A more detailed description of Corundum Rose:
Corundum Rose is her own Pimmie. She does as she pleases and is quite difficult to stop, as she somehow works around any obstacle with subtle creativity. For example, if she wishes to have a certain kind of nectar, chances are she will just "magically" show up where ever the flower is, whether or not it was raining, no matter where she was before. (There have been reports of her "recruiting accomplices" to help her with certain tasks, but nothing has been found by way of evidence.)
For some reason, she has an inclination towards nectar and honey straight from the flower or beehive. She generally does not mess with bees, however. She has a good sense of what's good for her and what is not (actually, what's good and what isn't, in general). Flowers, however, do not sting (most of the time) so she steals nectar every so often, remembering to visit a few before shaking the pollen off. To be honest, Corundum will never be seen inside with so much as a grain of pollen on her. Whatever rule-breaking she does is carefully cleaned up.
Though seemingly dishonest, she has a good heart, and is very responsible. No one ever has trouble with her, and she generally owns up to any permanent damage she causes (if any).
She is, after all, a Duchess. Ruler of herself and her own destiny, Corundum takes responsibility for what is hers, taking rules as guides rather than barricades. Though at times manipulative, she appears to take extra care to affect no one else. She generally likes being near anything precious or intricate, possibly as some sort of admirer or even guardian, and loves anything fluffy. One of her favorite hangouts is an earring box, curled around a pair of precious gems especially for her.
