Grim turned, showing his long fangs and blood encrusted mouth. He gave a loud, sudden bark which sounded more like a roar, then walked on toward the den, pulling out the still intact head of the bear. He tossed it to her, letting it land open-mouthed at her feet. The teeth had been torn out, and were tucked safely away in his den. "You should be a little more grateful, Scarlet. I was going to let it rot and put it on a pike when I claimed this spot as my own. Nobody messes with a bear killer." He smiled wickedly.

As Lillie walked through the forest, old memories haunted her. The memories of when she was a puppy. The humans that she thought loved her. The ones that left her to die. She tried hard not to think about them as she continued on.. She lifted her head up to sniff the air. Her nose burned with a familiar smell. there must be dogs nearby she thought. She started to pick up the pace in the direction the smell was coming from. Other dogs met companionship... and maybe food.

"Are you sure?" asked Kiara.She looked up at him."You caught it, I could always find another."Though that was true, she was sure she wouldn't be able to find one before she starved to death.Once again, her eyes betrayed truly nothing but her kindness and generousity.She knew though, in this world those would get her killed, that she'd need to be tough to survive in this life with the pathetic humans who couldn't leave the dogs out here alone.Her flank covered with it's fur betrayed nothing of her thinning frame.Can I trust him? she wondered to herself.She automatically pushed the thought away for he seemed so kind, she wouldn't doubt him.

(And so the crushing begins..)

Scarlet stared at the bear head, "I think you should do that..." She looked at Grim, "Any actual meat?" Scarlet was picky about food, always wanting the best part and taking things that she needed like teeth and pelts. She sighed, looking around. I hope he doesn´t think me rude, she thought to herself looking at the ground then him.

Storm crunched into her bird, tearing it's head off and swallowing it whole. Food was becoming scarce, and though she never went more than a couple days without food, she savored each bite. She looked up at the sound of fast approaching paws, and started to hastily rip the feathers off of the bird. She was in no mood for thieves today.

Donte nodded. "I don't need it, honestly." He smiled, and wagged his tail slightly. He looked out, his ears perked still for signs of danger. He caught the scent of badger, and he had to suppress the urge to snarl and give chase. His whole body was urging him to fight, to hunt, to kill, but he didn't want to frighten the poor female. He could tell by her scent that she hadn't eaten in a while, though he couldn't tell how long. "After that, we could find more. Rabbits aren't very fattening, and I can smell badger on the air..." He smiled warmly.

Grim smiled, and yanked out a piece of pelt that he had stashed the liver and bits of meat in. He pushed it forward, and grabbed the head, tossing it into the den. "Try that." He sat down, watching Scarlet carefully. 'Trip' was curious about the female, intrigued by her picky nature and stubborn attitude, despite her showing ribs.

Lillie had been running for 10 minutes, the smell was getting nearer and nearer. Soon she saw what the smell was coming from. Two dogs about 15 feet away from her! They had a bear head with them. Lillie's stomach growled as she got a whiff of the meat. I haven't eat in awhile she thought to herself. She didn't want to be seen just yet so she stayed hidden in the forest. She didn't want to risk being attacked. She kept low but listened in on what the others were saying.

Scarlet nodded, starting to eat. She was happy she had least got proper meat. "Thank you," Scarlet replied smiling her usual kind smile. She stepped forward, leaning over the pelt and eating slower. "Have some," Scarlet said, flicking her tail towards the pelt. Scarlet was as usual doing this, she was usually off spying instead of eating.

[Chaosin]

Kiara smiled at Donte from where she was leaning over to take a bite."That sounds like a great idea," she said warmly.Kiara began to eat the rabbit, not daring to show how famished she was by wolfing it down quickly.Finally she finished the rabbit.Donte was right about it not being fitting but it would hold her off until she could catch something else."I'm ready to go," she said.Her skills were slightly rusty, though she was fast and she had instincts, in this world it was not enough.

(Lol if she has a daughter I call it..One day..If any..I picked out a name ahead of time u.u; )

Grim laughed, a cold and shallow sound, and one he was not used to making. He leaned his head down, snatching up a chunk of the liver and swallowing it quickly. He knew that it wasn't safe to eat too much of a bear's liver, as it would make him sick, but it was also great for energy and fat. He lifted his head, his keen senses telling him that there was someone else out there, though he didn't know where. He shook it off, knowing he could handle anything that the forest had to throw at him. He grabbed a chunk of meat, but didn't eat it. He stood, setting it by the tree he had made his den in, and turning back to the pelt, keeping his ears turned toward the tree. He knew there was someone there, and he was determined to catch them.

Donte turned toward the smell of the badger, and led her to it. He pointed out the den, and lowered himself. "Stay here, and be careful. Badgers have a wicked bite if they can get to you, and their claws are sharp and long." He crept forward, and darted his head into the den, yanking the large male out and tossing it into the air. He leaped up, snatching it by the throat and shaking until the spine snapped. By the time he landed, the creature was dead. "Here, dig in." He smiled, sitting down, not even panting.

Scarlet froze, she could hear another dog close by. "Who´s there!" She snarled, baring her teeth. Scarlet backed a little, sighing and continued eating the mate.
