venice sighed and turned around, her soft eyes glittering." as much as i wish you could understand my situation, you don't. my mother was all i knew. i didn't have friends because she wouldn't let me. besides, she would've beaten me if i hadn't listened to her. " she shook her head, gathering herself together. she nodded, giving a small smile as she rose to her haunches. " sure, sounds like.. fun. " her smile spread, on the verge of becoming a cheeky grin.

Kiba wrinkled his nose at the rotten fruit before pushing it away with his head, turning to look at the cardboard box behind it. There was less then he had originally thought, but there still was at least a dozen or so, give or take a few. He was about to open another box when the other two females spoke. Noticing Arizona's obvious hesitation, he stepped back and thought for a moment, looking over the various boxes before speaking, a small smile creeping onto his expression. "I don't see how a small snack could hurt." Although it was true that he wouldn't usually do so, even with what they had found already there was enough for each dog. They would just a a little less for themselves later. He turned to Belle, one of the bags of beef jerkey under his paw. "Is anything we eat really safe?" He questioned, tilting his head slightly in thought. "I mean we eat squirrels and rabbits that could have rabies, or some sort of disease. Every time we eat we're taking a risk...Plus the pack really needs this food right now." The canine lifted his shoulders in a shrug. He was too happy with the new food stock to think too much about the possible dangers, and he was sure the others probably would be too. He frowned slightly but then pushed the thought from his mind, returning his attention to the small package in front of him and started trying to rip the plastic off.

Jay hesitated for a moment as Axel rolled onto his side, his eyes darting around the area. He let out a small bark, which was more of a yip than anything, and jumped on top. The pup held his head up high triumphantly, as if he was the one who knocked him over in the first place. "Hey what kinda dog are you anyways?" He questioned, carefully walking up his side then pawing at his shoulder. "I've never seen one like you..."

Cyris noted his smirk and instantly became agitated. She let out a growl, again baring her teeth, despite the fact that the male was clearly stronger. It annoyed her, that she probably couldn't beat him just because of her breed and gender. But alas, she couldn't change the fact that a greyhound's body was made for racing and not fighting. "Wherever I please," she snapped back defiantly and strode past him. If he was planning on attacking her, he most likely would have done so already and as he hadn't it gave her a little reassurance. She realized she was just digging herself into a hole but she continued walking. She hated having her back turned to him. It put her on edge but her pride wouldn't allow her to simply submit to this male.

Okami dipped her head in greeting. Her silver tail thumped against the ground as she looked him over with her gray eyes.

Axel smiled, "I'm a Doberman...but I'm one of those red ones. I guess you could say, rare?" He chuckled as the pup pawed his shoulder.
