"Of course. We want 3 cats as an absolute minimum. I will stay here at camp and alert our leader," I mewed quietly. "I just want to make sure that no other foxes are there. Who knows if that was a mother or not." Looking over at Featherdawn and padding over to her. "It's fine Featherdawn. Everything will be fine," I mewed shortly after licking her ear.

Froststorm

Featherdawn looked down. 'I'm fine for now. I'll get treated when Riverspirit is done with Thornwind and Minnowpaw. I'm not injured much.' She frowned more, remembering how useless she was and how much more she could have done. She listened to Brightfern and sighed quietly, not replying.

As he walked into the Warriors den, he spotted Froststorm sleeping and walked up to her. When he got next to her nest, he prodded he lightly, slightly scared of waking her.

Riverspirit

As soon as Thornwind was safely in his nest, Riverspirit went outside to bring Minnowpaw in. She carefully treated the kits wounds with a marigold poultice. Walking over to Featherdawn, Riverspirit looked at her. "Don't feel bad about it." She said gently. "It wasn't your fault."

Minnowpaw

Minnowpaw was unusually subdued while Riverspirit treated her wounds. She glanced at Thornwing and then the two she-cats beside him. Now that they were in camp, guilt was washing over the apprentice.

She looked up at the Medicine Cat. 'But I could have done so much more! I didn't know what to do, they needed help... But look at me, I'm small, skinny and weak... But if I left them to get help when we got back it might have been to late.' Her eyes slowly wondered back to Thornwind. 'Am I really fit to be a Mentor after this..?' She said, half speaking to herself.

Froststorm
I yawn with my mouth wide open. Startled seeing the light from outside I quickly jumped up and started growing my fur. Then seeing Rabbittail my fur fluffed up. "Uh... Hello... Can I.. Help you?" I mewed completely embarrassed.


Brightfern
Glancing over at Thornwind wanting to start bawling her eyes out that she felt so useless. Padding outside to make sure that Froststorm was going to wake up for Rabbittail. She smiled a little when she saw how embarrassed she was.

Mistytail rested the tip of her tail against Featherdawn's shoulder. "It's not your fault. You were shocked, I'm guessing. And you Did help. You have wounds that prove that. If you insist you're so weak, then that's what practice is for."

He smiled at how embarrassed she was. 'There was an encounter with a fox just before... I was wondering whether you wanted to come. I need another cat.' He said, still smiling.

She tried to force a smile at Mistytail's words, but she wasn't sure if it was working.

Riverspirit

The medicine cat's gaze softened. "You did all you could. And don't think that about yourself. Your an amazing warrior and mentor. Minnowpaw and the clan is lucky to have you." She spoke in a stern voice. Riverspirit sat back and narrowed her eyes at Featherdawn.

My eyes widened. "A fox? How do you know? Did you see it? Did anyone get hurt? How many people where there? When did this ha..." I suddenly realized I was pelting him with questions. "Sorry.." I mewed softly. I quickly got up and walk past him. "I would love to go with you."


Brightfern
I padded over to the medicine den again. Looking for Minnowpaw this time. "Minnowpaw?"
