Minnowpaw & Seedpaw

As they got deeper into the forest, Minnowpaw slowed to a walk, letting her brother catch up. "Which way should we go?" She asked, her gaze flickering around. Seedpaw shrugged. "Uh that way?" He suggested. Minnowpaw nodded and walked beside him, curiously sniffing the air every so often. "You know I think it'd be cool to see a fox!" She said, glancing at Seedpaw to see how he responded. He looked shocked. "What!? Don't you remember the stories about foxes eating kits?" He demanded. Minnowpaw shrugged. "Yeah but we're apprentices now." She replied. Seedpaw rolled his eyes, "We're still as small as kits!" He argued.

Feathertail chuckled a little with Thornwind. 'You should really be more careful next time.' She said still smiling. 'It may only be a thornbush now, but if you're not more careful you might get seriously injured next time.' She frowned thinking of her friend getting hurt. 'But let's not think of sad thing like that, hey? Better too look on the bright side of things!' She smiled again.

He frowned. 'It was a shame to miss out on that, wasn't it.' He looked down. 'At least they've got mentors now, they're such lively Apprentices.' He looked back to Mistytail. 'I wish I was that young again... I reckon every cat here does, too. All the Apprentices want now is too become Warriors - And don't get me wrong, that's a good thing. But time flashes by in an instant and soon enough, they'll be elders.' He sighed slightly thinking about his younger years.

thornwind :

Starting to pad towards camp with Featherdawn, felt to him the most
embarrassing thing ever. Spotting some moss and grass nearby it, bounding over like a
kit and rolling around. Washing off some of his fur from the little blood from the thorns.
Glancing over at the moss. "Well now I know where to send the new apprentices if
they are in trouble" Thornwind chuckled.

(Yeah.)

She laughed as Thornwind rolled around in the moss and made his joke. 'You wouldn't be so cruel.' She smiled, hoping she was right.

They continued their exploration of forest for several moments before the strange scent hit them. "What's that?" Minnowpaw's eyes flashed with curiousity. "It's disgusting!" Minnowpaw made a face. Seedpaw's fur was beginning to bristle with nervousness. "I don't know but we should probably get out of here." He took a step back, scowling when Minnowpaw ignored him. With no choice but to follow, Seedpaw cast an anxious gaze around them and followed.

"They're leaving camp. Do you think they're allowed to yet? At least when they become elders, they'll have common sense. Though, they'll probably become more grumpy. At least we won't have to live through that since we're... older," she joked weakly.

Thornwind chuckled some more before perking his ears.
There was talking. He couldn't recognize the voices right away before
he realized it was the new apprentices. "Featherdawn... I think we
found our apprentices..." he mewed quietly. Tasting the air and catching a
faint scent of Seedpaw and Minnowpaw, Thornwind flicked his tail in
the direction that the apprentices were. Starting to quietly rush through
the brush to catch up with the apprentices. Catching another scent his
eyes grew wide. "Oh no..."

He smiled at her joke. (Not that he wasn't already)
'They're Apprentices now, so I guess they can.' He had a concerned look on his face now. 'But they've still got the body frames of kits... And you know how Minnowpaw can be, what If she gets herself and Seedpaw in some kind of trouble?' He tried to be more positive. 'But I suppose everyone has their doubts, hey?' He said, trying to smile

She followed Thornwind into where their Apprentices' scents lingered. She gasped slightly as to what she saw in front of them.

"I mean, if they were older apprentices, I probably wouldn't have any doubts. But they haven't had any training. I suppose they'd be okay of they'd at least had some hunting training, because those could be turned into combat moves, but they've had no training. I'd think we should have more then doubts, but that's only my opinion."
