"It is," she agreed. "I'm assuming they were given mentors. Do you know who the mentors are? I was out hunting."

'No, I was out hunting when it happened. But I'm hoping Featherdawn got one, she loves Apprentices and kits.' He smiled =, then looked back at Mistytail. 'And how about you, had a good day... Done anything interesting?' He said, still smiling slightly.

Mistytail smiled slightly back at Rabbittail. "My day was normal, not bad, not good. But if you count eating a mouse and catching a sparrow interesting, then I suppose I lead a very exciting life. What about you? Has your day been good? Have you done anything interesting?" She asked.

Rabbittail laughed a bit. 'You never fail to put a smile on my face, Mistytail.' He paused for a bit. 'But my day has just been another day, really... Hunting, eating, so on. Nothing new.'

"This early in the morning, it's not surprising nothing excitable has happened yet. At least to us. I'm sure the new mentors and their apprentices are having an interesting day," she meowed.

Minnowpaw padded over to her brother. It looked like he wasn't going out with his mentor either. "Come on Seedpaw!" She purred to him. "We're apprentices now. We can go out whenever we want." Her brother looked doubtful. "What if we find a fox or something?" He asked. Minnowpaw simply rolled her eyes at him. "We won't, now come on!" Seedpaw hesitated before nodding. "Alright." Minnowpaw hared out of camp, Seedpaw following more slowly.

Rabbittail nodded. 'I wish I went hunting later than did, or went for longer, there wasn't much prey out. With any luck I'll be put on a patrol so I can make up for it.' He sighed at his past decision. 'It's not to much trouble though, we have plenty of prey, I suppose.' He watched Minnowpaw and Seedpaw and they talked.

Featherdawn watched Thornwind stalk the mouse and fall into the thorn bush. She frowned and walked up to Thornwind. 'Are you ok? I mean you fell into a thorn bush... But yeah.' She said, pulling a thorn out of his fur.

"Yeah, I am fine," Thornwind mewed gruffly. Starting to pull
thorns out gently, Thornwind winced a few times as some of them were
deep. Too embarrassed to even talk, he wanted to introduce the idea of
going back to camp. Starting to get most of the thorns out he only had a few
left. Chuckling a little, "Well might as well laugh off the pain." Glancing over
at Featherdawn and blushing a little before pulling out the last thorn.
