I'm gonna say beginner right now, but I have a feeling I'll be able to bump you to intermediate soon! Remember, you can audition for a higher spot every month. I'll explain more on that soon, but for now, you can draw anything for auditions, as long as it is NOT abstract art. Keep it up! ♥

The grey scale with the color red against it. It really shows, it so pretty. ^__^
Type of RPs you like: Animal roleplays. Its easier. Human RPS are okay too. :3
But, Since I draw animals FAR better than Humans, I consider any animal type.

I do love your art though! :O I think if you had a tablet your skills would skyrocket! So for now beginners, but keep trying and once you get your tablet and get used to it (all tablets take some getting used to) then I highly recommend you try out again!

I'll actually say intermediate for now. Your style is very... unique. And from what you said, you scan your pictures in? Their quality is.... it makes me jealous ;___; As far as your style, I can not really compare it to much. There are certain requirements I still need to lay out for advanced placement, but as far as beginner requirements you exceed them.

EVERYONE MUST READ

I think in about a month I am going to hold a audition, with a few requirements and if needed a few sample prompts to gather ideas from. Basically it will be a full-body image, with a required background. I will lay out what I am looking for in beginners/intermediate/advanced, and so you will basically have a rubric to look at and attempt for whatever group you wish to be in. Everyone will be highly encouraged to go through with it, but if they do not try out and draw something for it... I'm thinking the highest they can be in is intermediate (if I have already placed you in advanced, you will be bumped down).

Think of this more like a contest, or an audition for a play. They have deadlines. This, to will have a deadline. I'm thinking I'll accept entries for this particular group.... maybe 2 or 3 months total? Idk... Haven't really planned much.

AS FOR ROLEPLAYS: It is time we get a few started. Got any ideas? I'm thinking of a feral forest rp- very simple, with barely any strict plot ideas. I'm kinda in a winter mood... how about something wintery? Like the forest is stuck in a perpetual season of winter. Perhaps a group is trying to find out why?

Also: Just because you request to be in intermediate or advanced, does not mean you are snobbish or rude!I value your opinion and ability to grade your own art and realize you are advanced/intermediate/beginner. Besides, I asked you to be honest, yes?

I'll put you in intermediate! <3 I do like your art, but for advanced I'd like more detail in shading + backgrounds. I definitely think you are close to being in advanced, after seeing your most recent entry on your dA! If you can do stuff like that (especially in the upcoming audition) then you will be in advanced for sure. As far as tips for improvement (since you are a friend I will give you some- hope that doesn't offend you! it's the kindest gesture I know how to give in an art community such as this) I suggest you study anatomy of animals more. It's taken me a while but I finally have a good understanding of animal anatomy. Sometimes I ignore it though @___@ Also- do more with shading! Try more tones- don't just shade with one color, use many! Mess with textures, thick or thin fur... scales... that stuff!

I will put you in beginners for now... but with a little more (such as a bg, shading) I could easily see you in intermediate! So I highly suggest doing the audition when it is fully formulated. If you throw in shading and a background, you could be placed in intermediate <3

Thank you thank you thank you for giving full-body images and shading on both! Intermediate for sure. And yes, improvement is one reason I made this club! Practicing in something like this is a great way to improve. I guarantee the beginners, if they stick with it, will eventually (soon, for most) move up and up to intermediate and perhaps advanced!
