She nodded, her eyes meeting with Swanflames.

Amberpaw looked up at the two females. "Thanks." She muttered then laid her head back down on her paws, staring at the ground.

''Go get some rest, you'll have training tomorrow.'' She mewed, flicking her tail in the direction of the apprentice den.

Nightpaw

He nodded and padded towards the den, squeezing himself through the tight entrance and chose a moss bed.


Featherpaw

She followed her brother stumbling into the den and falling onto a moss bed, ''Well, I'm guessing this is mine!'' she mewed happily, laying down.

Flowerpaw

Instead of going to her den, she headed towards the medicine den. Looking around, she noticed her mother, Fernheart, Swanflame and a downhearted apprentice, Amberpaw in the far end of the den.

''Is everything okay?'' She mewed.

even after she had woken up shadowkit remembered her dream,
riverkit thunderkit and windkit had been playing while eaglestar and snowpelt watched over them. thunderkit seperated herself from her brothers and padded over. thunderkit opend her mouth but the voice that came out wasn't hers. "the young must grow old while the old ones older" windkit and riverkit stopped playing and wind kit came over repeating in the same voice "cowards will shrink as the bold grow bolder" then riverkit came over and mewed ,in the same voice, "and courage may blossom in quiet hearts for who can tell where bravery starts" silverheart then stepped out of the shadows of the nursery and said "truth is a song oft lying unsung like some mother bird protecting her young" snowpelt then took up the rhyme "those who lay down their lives for friends the echo rolls onwards it seldome ends" eaglestar then looked up at his daughter and yowled "who never turned and ran but stayed! this is a leader born not made" snowpelt looked at him and as one they repeated "calm in life and sound in reason, leading good and true for many a new season" silverheart chimed in "until evil arrives leading a hoard forcing a leader to unsheathe their claws" nightpaw walked out of the nurery and spoke alone "the challange rings then strait and fair. justice is with us, beware! beware!" the scene faded apart from nightpaw and featherpaw and flowerpaw appeared beside him

shadowkit woke in fright. what did it mean. her back and side had stopped bleeding so she got up and went to find a cat who would know what to do.

silverheart padded out of camp, heading towards the northern border there was still time to do a bit of hunting.

She heard heavy breathing from Shadowkit, and sleeply padded over.
''Calm, what's bothering you?'' she mewed softly.

Featherpaw

In the middle of the night, she nuzzled her brother and sister to get up.
''Flowerpaw, Nightpaw! Can you smell that? Burning!'' She mewed cautiously.

Flowerpaw

She became alert and jumped up, listening. ''I can hear branches and flames.'' she whispered nervously.

Nightkit

''We need to go check it out to make sure everything is secure and safe.'' He whispered back, crouching , his head poking out of the enterence.

"i had a weird dream" she mewed. "this part scared me" she whimpered

Amberpaw hadn't gone to sleep. She knew there was something going on with Shadowkit and her siblings and the thoughts were haunting. She was snapped out of it by the smell of burning and the sound of fire. She leaped to her paws and bursted out of her den into the camp. She looked around and decided to go into the forest to see what was going on. She padded calmly to the dump area and climbed out of the hole in it. She dodge the guard at the entrance and ran into the forest, searching for the fire.

"all cats old enough to catch their own prey join beneath the high rock for a clan meeting" he yowled

"thunderkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as thunderpaw. Your mentor will be ravensong. I hope ravensong will pass down all she knows on to you."
The leader calls up the warrior he has chosen as a mentor.
"ravensong, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from heathermist, and you have shown yourself to be brave and loyal. You will be the mentor of thunderpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to her.”

“windkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as windpaw. Your mentor will be ironpelt. I hope ironpelt will pass down all she knows on to you."
The leader calls up the warrior he has chosen as a mentor.
"ironpelt, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from nightclaw, and you have shown yourself to be brave and courageous. You will be the mentor of windpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to him.”

"riverkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as riverpaw. Your mentor will be shadefern. I hope shadefern will pass down all she knows on to you."
The leader calls up the warrior he has chosen as a mentor.
"shadefern, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from heathermist, and you have shown yourself to be honest and trustworthy. You will be the mentor of riverpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to him."

pansykit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as pansypaw. Your mentor will be lilacpetal. I hope lilacpetal will pass down all she knows on to you."
The leader calls up the warrior he has chosen as a mentor.
"lilacpetal, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from coaltail, and you have shown yourself to be brave and trustworthy. You will be the mentor of pansypaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to her."

“patchkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as patchpaw. Your mentor will be mistyeyes. I hope mistyeyes will pass down all she knows on to you."

"mistyeyes, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from lilacpetal, and you have shown yourself to be kind and loyal. You will be the mentor of patchpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to him."

eaglestar jumped down from the rock and padded over to shadowkit. "you need more time to recover." he told her gently and padded off
