I-I don't get this furnipets concept... Like I just logged on, and the web just turned to furnipets everywhere... Is this an April fools prank?

hiiii, im catherine. i like anime like frieren, delicious in dungeon & ranma.
i also like pokemon, league of legends, monster hunter, pikmin & other dweeb stuff
i log on mostly for events only these days, but sometimes i trade too :)
