right but you know I already have most of the important scenes written out sooo
idk yeah I might just do that will notes to fill in the blanks because I really do need a better plan for the second half
I dont think I have enough ideas for it to flow nicely to the end
which is mostly what Im worried about
... and once I get everything up I will be open to all the suggestions and corrections
because I really want this to be as good as it can be c:

Honestly, it's much better to push through and finish. If you start serious editing now, you'll just have to go back and edit again when you inevitably change something later.

Plus, don't you want to be able to finish something? Think of the pride and accomplishment you'll feel when you actually finish the first draft! And you can brag to every one that you finished your first draft. It'll be so worth it. Not everyone is able to claim that, after all. And you can take a break and then start editing, as opposed to you starting editing now, and then being stuck in this never-ending torture of perpetual editing and not-finished-ness. It'll feel so much better to just shoot for the goal of finishing, and then reaching it, and moving on to the next step. ^^

Anyway, if you need a better outline, sit down and write one. Brainstorm it all out. If you need to make serious changes to what's already been written, note them, but don't go back to change the whole thing now. Just continue writing as if those things have already happened. (For our benefit, and yours, you could always include notes throughout the story, perhaps highlighted in red, to explain the things you've decided will be different going forward.) Because no matter how complete you may feel a current outline is, chances are you'll end up changing it again. And then you'll need to edit again, and then again, and again. So my advice would be to finish first. You'll have a better idea of where the story is going when you go back to rewrite it if you have a finished piece. It just gives you much clearer, defined goals to shoot for. It's like baking a cake. You can't do everything all at once - you have to do the dry ingredients first, and then the wet ingredients. If you try to both at the same time you just end up with unpalatable mess (I have experienced this with both stories and cakes, as a matter of fact. XP)

Plus, I want to read what happens next, and notes just won't cut it for me. XD Do what you feel is best, but I think finishing is the more important thing. ^^

@Silverhart Ohh yeah that's what I was trying to do.
The problem is I started this over a year ago and my skills have changed infinitely.
... And so did my ideas.
I've been thinking about the end since I began and still have no ideas.
Plus, the end I have almost feels like a different story than the beginning and that's no bueno.
I fully anticipated at least three drafts out of this story.
So... I will make a compromise with all of you:

I have posted all the rest of the scenes that I have with brief explanations before each one.
If I ever do think of anything more [and I promise I will still be actively thinking about it] I will add to what I have c:

Also, I have extra scenes [that may or may not happen] with these characters in my 100 one-shot and 100 scene challenge threads. In case anyone wants more random scenes x]

Things that will definitely be added:

- More of Scarlet's past. Her childhood growing up with pyrates. I will definitely elaborate more on her relationships with Alistair, Thorton, Gail, and Sam as well as all the trouble she got into and the things she went through. Things that lead up to her being the way she is.

I haven't actually read the extra scenes yet, because, who am I kidding, I'm lazy. XP And I half want to read the whole thing start to finish. But I may have to glance through it just to know what happens later.

As for this:

- Scarlet and Vin oh my god at this point we all know they're gonna be a thing. Obviously. It will take a painfully long time but it will happen. But hoooooow is the question. And I don't fluffin' know is the answer. It's a battle of wills. Who will give in first? And will it be sweet or sudden? One kiss then storming away or flat out attacking each other? These are the things I think about someone help me.

... Obviously romance is very much not my thing.

I'd say kind of... push them into a situation where one or both have their guard down. At least, that's what I did when I was having trouble getting two of my characters to cooperate in that regard, and it seemed to work out pretty well to my mind. I haven't felt the chemistry between them yet - at least not romantic - which I kind of like. It's nice that it seems very slow. Perhaps they should become friends first - learning to appreciate, respect, and even depend on one another; and then let the romance naturally evolve from that. I'm not sure - I admit I'm not the most talented at romance either - but that's how I would proceed. Maybe once you get them to a place where they at least sort of... work together better, you'll be able to answer the other questions?

And does Fia have to wind up with some body? XD Don't force it if it's not meant to be!

GROANING ooooooooh Fia... Sh edoesnt haaaave to I just kinda wanted a romantic side thing, even if it didn't last. I mean I gotta have something to do with her lol otherwise shes just kinda... there. I like her and Scarlet's relationship but it only goes so far ya know

... heh heh... yeeeaaah one of the extra scenes is Scarlet's turning point. At least, in admitting the attraction to herself, if no one else.
The fun thing about them... Is that love and hatred are actually so close in the human brain that when one of them is strong it can be quite difficult to tell it from the other. Thats what Im playing on with them, I want to drag it out and then just have something snap.
What all have I tried so far...
I have like 4568976 alternate endings of the last extra scene I posted...
I have one where she actually tries flirting and its just painfully awkward so shes just like OH FORGET IT and basically jumps on him
I haaaave two where he confronts her, one in a night-time, quiet kind of way, and the other where she threatens him with a dagger and hes just like I KNOW HOW YOU REALLY FEEL OK WILL YOU PLEASE JUST STOP POINTING SHARP THINGS AT ME
I have one where she kinda mutters a half compliment under her breath and he just smack kisses her and shes like o.o ... if you tell anyone- and hes like lol tell anyone what and shes like... >.> ...
Also ones where she just gives up and becomes a scandalous tease
... like when I say I've tried a ton of things I mean... Ive tried... Just about everything
