ten years ago, 10 kids ages 8-10 were chosen at
random around the world at random. the kids w
ere ripped away from their homes, most of the
m against their will and stuck in a lab. the only
company they had was the ten other kids, so, n
aturally, they all bonded and became very clos
e. twice a day, a scientist came in and tested o
n the children. finally, after two weeks, all of t
hem were wiped of their memories and put unde
r. for ten years, they lay in a room, entranced b
y the drugs they were given, not completely asle
ep nor awake, but in the space between, where i
t’s impossible to decipher what’s sleep and what’
s awake. Of course, the scientists regularly chec
ked up on the children. eventually, it was time f
or the children to wake up, so the scientists inser
ted a message into their dream land that read, “i
f you are reading this, you’ve been in a coma for
ten years. now, we’re trying a new technique. w
e don’t know where this message will end up in y
our dream, but we’re hoping to get through. plea
se wake up! we miss you.” it took some of the ki
ds (who were no longer really kids, now ages 18 t
o 20) weeks to receive the message, but eventual
ly they all woke up. and every single one of them
felt different. the reason was that when the scien
tists tested on the children years back, they were
injecting animal dna into their systems, and now,
each and every one of the kids can shift into an an
imal. that is, all except for one boy, whose tests w
ent wrong. everyone woke up in a meadow of soft,
green grass and pale flowers. a little ways off was
a thick forest with a bubbling creek. a piece of pap
er was stapled to a nearby tree, which had the expl
anation to all their questions and instructions.

welcome to zephyr springs! you’re probably wondering what in the world you’re doing here with
all these strangers, correct? well, first off, you’ve been in a coma for … more than a couple yea
rs. ten, to be precise. secondly, these strangers are no strangers. once upon a time, you were all
very close with each other. we’ve ran some tests on you, and now everyone but one of you can s
hift into an animals, whether it be a wolf, deer, a bear, or pretty much anything else. do not wo
rry—you have complete control over when you shift. anyways, first off, to the left of this tree, th
ere is a manila folder with five sheets, each filled with little tasks, such as ‘find fresh water’. th
e reason why there are only five sheets when there are ten of you, is because you will all split in
to groups of two. it can be anyone you want. next, you will split off into your groups. there are
mandatory supplies and weapons scattered throughout the meadow and forest. this is a game of
survival. each of you will die by each other’s hands. the thing is, when you are killed, you will b
e brought back to life. this will last for two months, and the team who has “died” the least amo
unt of times at the end of this period of time will walk out of here unscathed. the rest of you wil
l die. permanently.

part of a tree. to reach it, you must be exce

has a pretty face but she's not even a bit brave. she takes the term 'introvert' to an ex
treme, but all in all, even though she can be a tad bit annoying, she has a good, soft
heart, is gentle and selfless, and is always ready to help out whenever she's needed.

plain when you don't understand something.

but unlike her, he was picked on for his smarts, called a freak and a nerd. he's nev
er fit in, and is familiar with the word 'loner'. he's desperate to be loved.

herself. she can get annoyed very easily.

Alistar John Rodder, or "Jack" for short is an twenty year old male infused with the DNA of a lion. The laziest of the group, Alistar is known for his quick tactics. It happens to be one of the only useful elements about the man. Due to his craving of less and less work, Jack will seek out the quickest way to finish off a task. Quick for him generally also means less energy spent attempting to complete the duty. Similar to the fury creature, Alistar adores relaxation and day dreaming. He is not the smartest individual in the world; however, his mind is filled with spectacular ideas and innovations. Mr. Rodder is marvelous at discipline and combat. More of a brute fighter, he is not agile but packs a punch. When he isn't angered, the lion tends to be a clown, messing around and trying to get a laugh out of anyone near him. Happiness fuels his vigor and charges his batteries. Whom ever he is paired with may need to uphold the office of leadership and authority in order to keep Alistar in line. He may push back at first but will most likely succumb to the order and follow it with some certainty. Jack is straight and only feels romantic around women, yet his understanding of love is stunted due to the long periods of a coma-like state. As a result, he is nearly childish when it comes to 'liking' a girl and may resort to the playful nature of a ten year old. Yes, that does entail the pulling of pigtails and constant contradiction or critique. All of which are signs of affection in his eyes.

Temperance dislikes people, the human race bothers her and this, what they did to her just makes her hate people more then she did before. Her dislike for people came when both her parents were killed by a drunk driver, leaving herself who was only five and her three month old brother alone. They of course went to live with her Uncle and Aunt but it wasn't the same as her parents. She was always a quiet girl and considered "weird", she was originally from Ireland and then moved to the USA with her Uncle and Aunt. She was just different from the other kids in her school; from another country, sounded funny, she rarely wore what was "in" style. She preferred to wear basic clothing that wouldn't draw much attention to herself. The only person she ever trusted and cared for was her little brother, she was just relived when she was nine that they didn't take him. She would of been a mess and she wouldn't be sure if she could live with herself. Temperance isn't all that bad but you get this vibe from her that indicates she doesn't like you, it really isn't like that she's just uncomfortable and awkward. She isn't always uncomfortable and awkward she just doesn't do well with first impressions, once you're around her more she seems to calm down and then her wall goes up, she'll try to keep herself on one side and you on the other. She can become irritated with certain things pretty easy like; annoying, whinny, and or childish people. She can snap easily and isn't afraid to tell someone off when they are bugging or annoying her.
Temperance is pretty paranoid with about everything, this situation really doesn't help. She has a hard time trusting people and she refuses to do so at the moment, she's pretty independent and would rather look after herself and keep herself safe instead of grabbing a partner and risking something. She really does seem like a girl that you should stay away from but if you do end up earning her trust she really isn't all that bad.

Barret Parryodon was born in Russia and grew up
there for sometime, although when his fathers company grew they
moved to the U.S which isn't all that bad, the winters were fairly
decent. Barret has a pretty bad temper, sometimes he can't even
control it. He often rages out and its very very hard to stop the guy.
Although he may be bad tempered but the he has a heart, he is
pretty calm too when someone isn't trying to hit a nerve, he is a very
good person to just sit down and have a chat with. He is one of the
best listeners you'll ever find. He can be sarcastic at times its one
of the first signs of him getting mad, he hates sarcasm, he hates it in
himself and others. He can be pretty flirty when he has his eyes on
someone, he's quite the charmer when he wants to be too but lately
he's had this straight serious face on him. Barrett isn't the smartest
guy of the bunch, don't ever ask the guy about math or history because
your going to be very disappointed.
