I was inspired by Katie Cat to try a new pose. And- I decided to do this. Making Cigar all shiny clean, smelling fresher than a horse can be, and awaiting for his mane and tail to be carefully trimmed for the Open Halter show.
I did use a personal ref for the front half of the picture. I genuinely tried the back half.
I actually like how the back half came out and not the front half. lol

I'm going to put up a western trail show so start drawing your horses practicing in their western gear!

I don't think I'm going to enter any other shows, besides halter until my person is more confident in her riding. <3 But I'm excited to watch and check out how everything runs!

All of BES's regular shows are schooling shows, meaning they are for practice and confidence! if you don't want to enter thou, I suggest doing the practice and training for them as if your going to enter C: that's something I do in real life haha

One question Bay... Can horses show in separate disciplines that they don't specialize in or are not truly built for?
Status/sayings: Life being consumed by rabbits and dancing.
Hi I am Baby bunnies! but you can call me BB
I love to do art. Before December 2014 all art that I did was with a mouse. I now work with a Bamboo tablet. Also please note that I expect something in return for customs, I put time into every piece.
I own rabbits! I love to show my rabbits and and have gotten many first place ribbons, a lot of Best of Breed, Best Opposite Breed, Best of Variety, & Best Opposite Variety awards. My rabbits have also gotten Reserve in Show and Best 6 class. I, personally, have gotten Reserve Champion and Grand Champion awards. I take part in Rabbit Royalty! If you have any questions about Rabbits then please ask and I shall answer as best that I can.

This is a good question, something I was wondering too, because I want to try the western trail but had it planned that it wasn't going to go well for Judge and Rin (he's definitely not a western guy and Rin hasn't got a clue about it lol!)

yes they can! if you can do it in real life, you can do it here. horses are horses, they are not restricted to be completely incapable of something they are not bred for. They might not ever be very great at it, but they can do it!
I know QH's that jump, TBs that cut and Shetlands that run barrels lol.

if your horse mind's his feet, studies the obstacles, and is calm and takes his time, they can do a trail pattern. its just pole work really.

Road: 15, lameness. Darn, he's going into retirement. And I hadn't even worked with him yet.

Tilly: 74, wow that was scary for a second. Tilly has made a full recovery from her previous injury.
