Jae tried to steady his breathing. In his hand was his small container of pills. He took two more than he should have, but it was the only thing he could do, and it was working. Maybe a little too well. He was drifting in and out of consciousness.

She waited a bit, till she was sure of her choice, and opened the door carefully. As she opened the door, she saw him lying there on the floor, breathing thankfully, but not moving really. She would kneel down, checking to see if he was okay, and noticed he had a container of pills. She put it in her pocket, and bit her lip as she removed her jacket, after picking him up a bit with one arm over her shoulders and setting him against the wall, on his back and put her jacket behind his as a pillow ".. your as worse as I am.. can't control it..curse it controls you sometimes.. but I change into a 'demon'...and you.. change into... I don't know" she said almost as if to herself. As she sat near him against the wall

scatty gulped trying to hide the icey floor and nodded nervously as ice began to form from her hand to the ball "yep, i am fine"

sweat started run down scatty neck and shooked her head nervously "nope, i am fine really. i not......"at this point the ball was in think ice and the frozen soilid ball sliped out of her hands and spilt in half and scatty closed her eyes waiting for insults to be thrown at her

"I wonder if..." Clara had never experimented that much, but she closed her eyes and focused on the storm. C'mon, change. Clara was trying to focus the rain so a larger amount fell on Jace, cooling him faster; although she had never tried this, Clara needed to before Jace melted or exploded. Clara was shaking with the effort, but when she opened her eyes, she found that her experiment had worked - heavy rain was now pouring directly overhead Jace, enveloping him in a huge steam cloud that seemed to be diminishing.

Jace Parker; 16; outide ; Clara and Finny
As the steam began to diminish Jace came back into view. He was sitting on the ground in the grass, drenched in water. His clothes were full of holes and he was panting, yet laughing at the same time. "It worked" he laughed, "It really worked." Jace held up his shaky hand to catch the rain and then tilted his head back to feel the raindrops streak down his face. Steam was still rising from him, but it got thinner and thinner as the rain thickened.

Jae's eye opened slightly. He looked down that the floor and then noticed that Kaiya was sitting right beside him. He felt paralyzed due to the strong effects of the medication so he couldn't say anything. If he could move, he would have smiled.
