(Okay. Just making sure you don't hate me for Opal's annoyingness, I'll start :3))

I swim around, feeling blissful today. I swim deep underwater, but rise up to feel the sunlight. My silver tail glints like steel armour in the sunlight, a dazzling sight. I come across an annoyed-looking merman. "Uh, hi." I say to him with a small smile. "Did something happen?" I ask with pure concern and friendliness in my voice. My green eyes look straight into his as I speak.

One looked back at her, a happy smile one his face, though it was fake. "No, I just didn't beat my record for beating the wave." he said, he didn't like the girl much, but he wasn't going to get her killed.

(Its alright, I know its just a character. Like in movies, its not the actor that's mean, its the character they are playing)

I roll my eyes and smirk a bit. "Yeah, right..." I didn't want to push on the subject. "So I'm guessing you're not a hybrid..." I could definitley tell because of the way he swam and his lean and well-muscled tail. I flick my silver tail in greetings.

Jason smiled and nodded, collecting the various pieces of trash left over from the paper lanterns. He shoved it all into one of the bags and also grabbed the empty soda bottles then stood up. "Yeah, no problem. It was fun," he looked down at her in the water before up to the sky. The majority of he small lights had faded into nothing, their small flames gone out. "Alright, then see you later," he glanced at her knew more time, a bright smile still set on his features, before turning his back and returning to his house though the back door.

"No way. Pureblood." He then swam closer to her. "I call myself One." He said holding out a hand.

(There is a whole back story on the name he gave himself, but I might revel it later in the to, and his real name too.)

I shake his hand. "Me too. And cool name. I'm Eva, by the way." I smile coolly. "So, anything exciting happen near the surface today? I was mostly in the deep today exploring."

One smiled a small smile, but it was his first real one if the day. "Not really, some humans riding the waves on board, stupid really. I knocked one down when it ruined by speed by breaking my wave, which is why I smell of human." He explained.

"Ah. I see. But why are humans so dumb? I mean, seriousley. Riding a plank of wood on a wave? What idiot thought of that?" I lightly laugh. "I've never actually met a human before, but from what I've heard, they're weird." I smile shyly.
