[ in Garth's perspective and POV -- I hope it's okay I made it more like a story! ]
My eyes darted from place to place. My vision started to come, and I could begin to see what was ahead of me. The sun shone down on a velvety green forest that scooped downward to a roaring waterfall. I stepped closer towards the waterfall, and watched the water spill into a river below. How beautiful it is... too bad the world around it is so corrupted.
"I'd always knew I'd find you here," A familiar voice said from behind me.
Turning around, I found myself face to face with an old friend. He was tall and slender, wearing a smirk on his face. I was at a lost for words, and I started at the male. I flicked my ear.
"Well now, don't you remember me?" He asked and walked towards me. His tail swiped under my chin flirtatiously.
"... But you're dead. This is impossible..." I muttered.
"Oh, is that what they say?" He replied, chuckling a bit. "They don't know a thing, my love."
My eyes began to water. Dammit. I'm never this emotional. Swiftly, I scooped him up into a hug. "I knew you never died..." I whispered quietly.
"Glad you see you, too," He said and laughed a bit. He wore that conniving smile, the one that always had drew me in. His voice was strong and steady, and it rang out clear through the warm air.
We talked a bit, like how it used to be. We laughed and goofed off... and heck, it was fun. The most fun I have had in a while. The cool breeze would carry our words through the woods, leaving a warm and cozy feeling.
My voice would echo through the woods, and soon he would chime in as well. Our duet was conducted a harmonious chorus; gentle and sweet.
Finally, we sat down at the edge of the clearing in the woods, right next to the waterfall. The sun began to dip beneath the trees and the moon began to show it's beauty. I rested my head on his shoulder, and looked up at him.
"Don't leave me... okay?" I said to him.
"I won't... I promise." He said with a smile.

Groggily, my eyes opened. I was lying in my bed and there was no sign of what had happened. Dammit... I should have known it had been too good to be true. I've had these dreams ever since he had died, but this one seemed to so real... and I loved every moment of it._____________________________________________________________________________________
