"I'm thankful" he smiled at them and then he noticed that his hands were trembling. "I need to get to the bathroom." He begged them, using the wall for more support. He took a couple steps forward and almost fell. "Ugh... I'm sorry about the wall." he managed to make a joke out of the situation. "Be careful." he warned them again, really hoping that they wouldn't get hurt.

When Jace's hand was removed from the wall there was a charred handprint left behind. His skin was boiling hot. Hot enough that when he was sitting against the wall, it began to peel and burn. Jace blinked again and looked at both Clara and Finny's faces. "Water... the bathroom." he mumbled, still feeling dizzy. "Don't touch my skin. whatever you do.... don't touch it." he warned them. "I just need to get to the bathroom." he told them, trying to get back to his feet.

Jae kim ; 17; hall; Kaiya
Jae let out another scream of pain and slammed his fist down again. "YOU NEED TO DO IT!" he hissed venomously, worried about what he might do to her if she didn't get away from him soon. His eyes flashed purple and his fingernails began to elongate into sharp, talon-like nails.

She flinched a bit, at the way he said it. Before he could even move, the door opened she closed it behind her as she slid to the floor as she was shaking badly as she'd fully changed forms, now in her large fox form. She barely had time to get out of the janitors closet as whines escaped her muzzle.

"Good." She placed her hands on her hips, a determined smile flashing over her face. "We're here to help you, Jace. Just..try not to melt, okay?" Finny's voice had taken on a slightly lighter, cheery tone in spite of the current situation.

Jae kim ; 17; hall; Kaiya
When the door was shut and locked there was a loud BANG on the metal. Bang! Bang! Bang! Jae pounded on the door with his fists. He was obviously holding back because out of all of the times he had hit the door, he would have knocked it down if he was using full strength.

She heard the noise, and curled into a ball as she yipped slight whines ' God I hate how I do this when I get nervous or really scared. I feel useless ' she thought. Her ears laid back against her head as she scooped, over to one side of the door.

"Yes, melting wouldn't be good," added Clara nervously. "Okay, next stop bathroom. Do you need help?" The bathroom was just down the hall, but Jace was much taller than Clara and Finny, and Clara wasn't sure if they would be able to carry him if he passed out.

Jace chuckled and then shook his head lightly "I can make it" he assured them and continued forward. He stepped carefully making sure he didn't fall, especially on one of them. That would not be good. When they reached the bathroom he shoved the door open quickly and abruptly picked up speed. He hurried to one of the sinks and switched it on. "C'mon..." he grumbled to himself, splashing the water into his face. To his dissatisfaction the water only sizzled up and converted to steam as it touched his skin. "Ugh!" he growled, gripping the sides of the sink angrily. "It's not enough!" he growled again and the heat began to intensify, heating the bathroom up to an uncomfortably hot temperature.

The banging stopped after a short time and Jae sank to the floor on all fours. "Don't... open... that door. Please..." he groaned, hoping her curiosity wouldn't get the best of her.

She strode after him patiently, waiting outside the bathroom when he went in. "Jace. Calm down, you'll only make it worse. Let's get..some ice or something. Something really cold." She had turned slightly so that she was facing the bathroom.

Clara Grainger
Clara followed Finny, pacing anxiously. She could hear thunderclaps reacting to her stressed mind. Calm. Down. "Should I get some ice from the office?" she asked.

Jace shook his head vigorously and took a deep breath. "It's not working..... it's not working!" he growled angrily and the pipes of the sinks began to rattle and whistle from the steam building up inside of them. "It won't work!" he yelled, hearing their suggestions from the other side of the door. He needed water. A lot of water. When the sound of thunder crackled Jace's eyes widened. "It's raining." he said under his breath and backed away from the sick, stumbling slightly. "Is it raining outside?!" he called out to them with a sense of urgency in his voice.
