This is a fan fiction sortove bassed on a 1x1 roleplay that I am doing with ~Snowstorm~. Shadekit/paw/warrior name is her cat.

Prologue.

The Starclan meeting swirled with stary cats.
"Something is coming soon," Firestar said, looking at the other cats. "The four clans will need our help soon. Thunderclan may fall." There was a murmur from assembled cats.
"Thunderclan will fall? But thunderclan has been here since the dawn of the clans!" a brown Tom with a white tail called.
"Yes, Tallstar, which is why we will chose three cats from Thunderclan to save them. Each of you must chose one young cat from your clans," Bluestar said.
"Why does Thunderclan have more!" A large white Tom with black paws hissed.
"Because Thunderclan will be in the most danger!" Lionblaze snapped back. A pale blue she cat that looked a lot like Bluestar stepped forward with a ginger Tom with a broken jaw,
"I, Mistystar, and Crockedstar of Riverclan agree." She said. She crouched near the pool, and a cat appeared in the pool. Bluestar nodded in agreement.
"He will do well," she said.
Blackstor stepped forward next. He crutched beside the pool. The cat they chose caused meows of astonishment.
"But he's so young!"
"He won't be when it happens," Firestar said, stepping up to to pool, Bluestar and Bramblestar beside him. Three cats appeared in the pool. Tallstar stepped up next.
"There are no cats suitable for this in our clan yet. We will wait for Fangheart to have her kits before we decided," he said. The other cars nodded.
"Then it is decided. We will meet again when Fangheart's kits are born," Bluestar said, and the cat dispersed.

Chapter one.

"Look out!" Amberkit cried, jumping on her brother, Emberkit. A moss ball sailed over them.
"Hey, get off, mouse brain!" Emberkit said, grinning. Shadekit and Birchkit bounded up. Shadekit had another moss ball in his claws.
"The great Shadestar will defeat the Shadowclan warriors!" Shadekit said, leaping on Amberkit and Emberkit. Birchkit just smiled and watched.
"Why don't you join them?" a voice said, and Birchkit jumped. She turned and saw her mother, Blackfire.
"I dunno, I just done feel like it," she answered. Suddenly, the three playing kits tumbled into Snowleaf, Amberkit and Emberkit's mother.
"Go and play outside, kits. You're old enough now," she said, shooing them out.
"Really?!" Amberkit cried. "Race you!" She speed out, followed by Emberkit and Shadekit. They stopped as they exited the nursery. Birchkit bumped into them.
"It's so big!" Shadekit whispered.
"Race you to the other side!" Emberkit cried, and started to run.
"No fair!" Amberkit said, following him, Shadekit close behind. Birchkit raced after them. They were stopped as a patrol entured, lead by Rockclaw. Emberkit and Ambrkit were soon climbing all over their father, while Stormpaw showed Shadekit and Birchkit some hunting moves. The two younger kits, Amberkit and Emberkit, where four days old, while the other kits where half a moon old.
Birchkit saw Littlefoot enture the camp, followed by Rainpaw. She ran over to the medicine cat.
"What are you doing?" she asked. Littlefoot smiled.
"Carring herbs for the clan," he answered.
"Ok," Birchkit said, running back to the others.

Chapter two.

Stonekit watched Tinypaw and Lakepaw chatting about their days. He sighed, he wished he had a sibling, or even a play mate. But he was the only kit in the nursery at the time. He couldn't wait till he was an apprentice. But he had to wait for another four moons.
"Hey, Stonekit. Do you want me to show you a hunting move?" Lakepaw called to him. He looked up.
"Yes!" he cried, jumping to his paws. He rushed over the Lakepaw, as Tinypaw walked to the medicine cat den.
"Okay, crouch down, no put your tail down, that's better, no, keep it still. Good, no pretend im a mouse, ok?" Lakepaw instructed. Stonekit nodded, and stalked the older cat. He leapt, and grabbed Lakepaw's tail.
"Got you!" he said, through a mouth full of fur.
"Ow! Hey, don't bite!" Lakepaw said, shaking him off. Stonekit sighed, that would end the training. Lakepaw got angry easily. "What did you do that for?"
"Sorry, Lakepaw," Stonekit muttered. Lakepaw snorted, and walked back to the apprentice den.
"Four more moves," Stonekit muttered.

Chapter three,

Streampaw jumped over the log, but missed, and landed on him face. His sister, Mistypaw, cleared the log easily. She was so much bigger then him.
"Hurry up, Streampaw," his mentor, Ashnose called. Streampaw sighed, and followed the others. This was his first outing as an apprentice, and he wanted it to be great. He bounded after the others, and soon the came to the Lake.
"Whoa!" Mistypaw cried, and for once Streampaw agreed. The lake was huge!
"Right, I'll show you how to catch fish. And try to keep out of the water, Streampaw," Flametail said. Streampaw felt his face buring. Just because he was small didn't mean he couldn't swim! He was a Riverclan cat! The four cats walked to the half-bridge, and Asnose showed them how to wait til they saw a fish, then lash out and catch it. Mistypaw soon caught a fish, but Streampaw just couldn't get the hang of it. Suddenly, he saw a flash of silver, it was a fish! He lashed out, and flicked it into the air, but just as he was about to catch it, he heard a yowl.
"Twolegs!" Flametail shouted, and they rushed off the half-bridge. Streampaw was left behind because of his small legs, and he left the twoleg kit grap him. He hissed, and tried to swipe at it, but it was holding him to hard. He saw a flash of red, and the twoleg yowled in pain. Streampaw felt himself falling, and suddenly he was in the lake. He gasped in shock and pushed his paws, trying to get to the surface. Swimming in the lake was much harder then swimming in the camp. He pushed harder, but felt his strength failing. He felt teeth on he neck, and saw Ashnose pulling him up. The red and white Tom lay him on thee bank, and Streampaw lay there, gasping.
"Didn't I say stay out of the water?" Flametail asked, "let's go back." Streampaw felt tears come into his eyes. Why was he so small?
