Asp pulled his ears back slightly. "Oh, my, um...sorry." He apologized quickly, averting his gaze to the bramble and fern wall enclosing the Clan's "camp". I suppose it would be large to most cats...it's still really very amazing, though. This must be a large group of cats. They have so much territory, and with this wall, they've been here for a long time, and they aren't moving anytime soon. "This is very impressive!" He exclaimed. "How big is your Clan?"

She looked at him. "I asked, there is no need to apologize.... She meowed quietly. She watched as his expression changed, and examined his body features. His black fir was sleek and his features appealing. She couldn't help but smile and noticed that he had asked a question. "Oh, I'm not sure... It is large though." Crestleaf said quietly.

Asp dipped his head respectively. "Thank you." He mewed, smiling at Crestleaf. I've gotten her to smile! Yes! He wanted to yowl, but held back. Instead, he flicked his sleek, long tail, and mewed, "Let's go, then." Flicking his big ears, he bent down and padded through the entrance of the camp. When he was past the wall, he stood at full height, looking around in awe. "Wow." he whispered, looking at the dens and the pile of prey in the center.

Crestleaf gazed at the camp herself happy to be back, realizing She still hadn't gotten the Burdock. She looked towards Snowstars den for a second then looked back uo at Asp. "My den is over there" She pointed across the clearing "The one the smells of herbs" She said with a soft smile.

Grasswhisker continued to laugh, and Gingerpaw rolled his eyes, glancing over to see Crestleaf. He stood to approach his mentor, than noticing Asp following her. His long fur bristled, not out of fear but in defense.

Grasswhisker's laugh died out, turning to a confused chuckle. She followed her twin's gaze and she stood, ready in case this newcomer was a danger.

Asp dipped his large head to Crestleaf in thanks. "Thank you. Should I go to your den, or can I look around? Do I have a den?" He pelted the Clan cat with questions. He stopped, growing warm under his fur. "Sorry." He apologized, smiling faintly. He twisted one of his bat-like ears as he noticed two bristling cats at the far side of the camp. Turing, he padded over to the cats. He towered over them, like every other cat he'd ever med but his littermates and mother. "Hello," He mewed, "My name's Asp. I'm joining your Clan."

Grasswhisker stood up straight, looking up at him.
"Wow. You're... tall..."
Gingerpaw nudged her, growling softly.
"Oh, Er, I'm Grasswhisker, a warrior. This is my brother Gingerpaw. He's Crestleaf's apprentice."
Gingerpaw paw rolled his eyes before looking up at Asp, fur still bristling slightly. He was already somewhat small, so this cat was definitely a giant to him.
"Nice to meet, I guess."

She smiled. "Well you can't stay in my den, you'll be in the warriors den." She said flicking her tail towards it. She saw Gingerpaw and a grimace on his face. She padded over as Asp introduced himself "Gingerpaw..." She said a bit stern. "He will be joining the clan.. So I should take him to Snowstar" She said softly.

Asp nodded. "Yes, the warriors' den. And, uh nice to meet you, Grasswhisker, Gingerpaw." He thought for a second, flicking his tail slowly, then continued, "Is, uh, Snowstar the leader of this Clan? Does he have to accept me first?"

Gingerpaw's ears flicked back when he heard his mentor's voice. He looked away from either of them, thinking of retiring to his nest early.

Grasswhisker continued to look at Asp.
"Yeah, Snowstar is our leader."
Her pale green eyes than shifted to her brother, sighing.
