Clara leaned forward abruptly. "Are you okay?" she asked, frowning worriedly. "What just happened?" Clara twisted a strand of her hair. Hope that's normal.

After some quick preparations Jace was dressed and ready to head back to school. He grabbed his bag, threw it over his shoulders and exited his room with a sigh. As he walked down he saw his mother walk up the stairs with a plate of food in her hands. "Hi mom. I'm going back now." he informed her and she just stared at him for a moment and then continued in the other direction. "Love you." he called to her and then descended down the stairs to the front door without a response. Taking Finny's umbrella into his hand, he opened it and then stepped back outside, locking the door behind him. "Should I just go back to school from here?" he asked himself, biting his lower lip in thought. "I guess..." he murmured, checking the time on his phone. With that said, he started off down the sidewalk, back in the direction of the cafe as well as the school.

"So you don't like people as much as I do?" he asked with a slight chuckle. "I'm not a huge fan of being around others either." Jace led them both to the gymnasium where there was a couple of other students who had already switch classes. "You learn to get used to it..." he sighed.

She bit her lip and nodded weakly. "Yes, totally fine, nothing wrong over here!" Finny's voice wavered slightly with the effort of controlling the malfunctioning gloves.

She nods"yeah....but for me.. I avoid it as much as possible to be around a big crowd. If I end up in a big crowd... then " she stopped slowly, on that sentence, letting him mull over what might happen"But.. I guess your right... I might have to get used to it.. whether I like it or not" she said,

"Oh, okay, if you say so." Clara sat back. She stared at her right palm. The skin tended to darken to a grey in the centre when there was a local storm. The centre of her palm was lightening as the rain outside faded away. Glancing around, Clara hid her palm under the table before anyone could notice. No one had accused her of having powers; it wasn't the type of thing to cross most teenagers' minds. But you can never be too careful, Clara thought to herself. She looked out the window absentmindedly.

She shot up, slamming her palms on the table. "I HAVE TO GO NOW, EXCUSE ME." She said, rather loudly before getting up. She needed to get to her equipment for this sort of thing, which was back at the school. Finny edged out of the cafe, removing her gloves as she did so.

Clara's head jerked up at Finny's strong exit. She scratched her head, bemused. "Right," she muttered. "Alone again." Honestly, what did she expect? Clara opened her book again, reading through to the end of the chapter.

Jace walked alone on the sidewalk, carrying the umbrella high above him. "Hm?" he hummed when he noticed that the rain was stopping. "That's a relief." he breathed out, lowering the umbrella and closing it. He breathed in deeply and then carried on with his walk, passing by the cafe.

Jae Kim; 17; in school; with Kaiya
Jae sat down on a bench and placed his bag beside him. She reminded him of his self. Which reminded him... Jae pulled the small round container from his pocket and pressed down on the lid for it to pop open. Inside was a couple of big blue pills and he took one onto the palm of his hand. "And now... we wait..." he sighed and tossed the pill into his mouth, dry swallowing it.

"thanks" said scatty as she sat down and started to take her food out and then taking out her hot chocolate she took a drink and thinking it was not hot enough she put her finger in it making it bubble forgetting that she had company

She sat down, on a bench across from him as she sighed a little. As she looked at him for a moment, she blinked, seeing him swallow something, but chose not ask, as she made a mistake of doing that long ago. She never ask aboit something like that, unless she was allowed to"..I'm guessing for class to start huh?" She asked softly, after she heard him say about waiting. She would look away after a momen, arms loosely wrapped around herself, in her lap.
