She padded through the forest slowly. She had sensed a strange sensation from the crest on his forehead, and it,was different from before. Crestleaf continued to pad a long the forest her eyes widening as she sensed it again, but that time it was stronger.

Midnight suddenly smelt a cat. The cat must be close. She quickly hid in the shadows under a near by bush.

Gingerpaw finally decided to get up. He yawned, and padded out to be instantly tackled by his sister. Grasswhisker laughed as her brother, used to these greetings, pushed her off with an annoyed huff.
"Do you always have to do that?"

Asp finished his meal, standing at full height, flicking his tail as he bent over and picked up the remains of the mouse. He padded a few large paw-steps away from his nest, quickly scraping a shallow hole. He dropped the remains in the whole, scraping dirt over it and turning back to his nest.

She looked around and saw a flash of black fur and She turned her head to the Bush. "Hello?" She called out.

Asp flicked up his bat-like ears, arching his back in alert. "Who's there?" He demanded in a deep, threatening voice. He arched his long, thin back, fluffing up his fur to look even bigger then he already was. Unsheathing his claws and pulling back his lips in a menacing snarl, he continued to look around and repeated his question, "Who's there?"
