Jace stroked his chin and stared off into space as he tried to think. "Hmm..... did I tell you I can't swim? Hmm, yeah I think I did." he mumbled and continued to think. "Ah! It's random but, I've never gotten sick before." he confessed and pulled a sugar packet from the small basket at the edge of the table. "Its kind of weird, but I just don't get sick. Oh, and I can be a little oblivious at times. Just warning you." Jace cracked the sugar packet open and accidently spilled it onto the table. His eyes widened for a second and he playfully began to gather the scattered crystals into a small pile with his fingers.

Jae pulled the schedule from her hands without a second thought and looked it over carefully. "Ah well, you have all the same classes as me." he told her and squinted his eyes. "Except for homeroom." he added and handed the piece of paper back to her. "Were they your body guards?" he asked while wiping the water from his face and returning his hood over his head.

She lifted a hand wiping a couple raindrops near her eyes, as she took the paper that her schedule, back from him"and that's...bad..or good?" She asked, noticing the way he said how she had the same classes with him, except homeroom. But as he asked if those people were her bodyguards, she shook her head, unable to help the slight shiver down her spine"no...their not" she said, the fear what those people might be, evident in her voice.

She raised her eyebrows and smiled. "Really? You've never gotten sick? That is amazing." At his other statement, she smirked. "I noticed, Jace. You do seem to get distracted quite easily." She pointed out, looking at his new pile of sugar.

Jace chuckled and poked the pile of sugar until there was a small crater. "Yeah, I can get pretty distracted. It doesn't take much to distract me. And yes, maybe I just have a super immune system?" he suggested and licked the sugar particles that were stuck to his finger. "Here you go~!" the waitress from before returned to their table carrying their basket of golden colored french fries and Finny's drink. "I'll be back with your coffee." she told Jace before disappearing again.

"Oh, ok." he murmured when she denied who the men were and he shook his head. "No, its not a bad thing." he assured her and tucked his hands into his pockets. "I was just saying. You can stick with me for the rest of the day. We'll be going to the same place anyways." Jace tried not to think too much about the 'men' she had mentioned and rolled the thought to the back of his mind.

Clara continued to read, occasionally glancing up. As per usual, no one greeted her. Clara didn't really have friends; she was more of a shadow than a person. The remains of her coffee had cooled, and she regarded the half-empty cup with malevolence. Clara got up to throw out the coffee, but she tripped and fell, spilling the contents of the cup. Some got on her shirt, and Clara narrowed her eyes in annoyance as she picked herself up, embarassed.

"oh..alright.. She glanced back a bit, as the thought of those people showing up again, made her nervous a little. after a moment, she looked at him again as the rain began to soak her hair completely, but slowly.
