Blossom tried to shut her feelings for both of them away, so she wouldn't make one of them jealous. "Both of you, stop!" she snarled, a bit too harshly.

Shadow lowered his head, eyes closed. He had to obey the alpha's orders. He lifted it up and padded away slowly, leaving a trail of sorrow. He sat at the water's edge and sighed at his image in the river. Thoughts began to drift in his head. Why? Why does Alopex have to be like that? And why do I have to get blamed? Its not fair, for Blossom.
The brute swiped his paw across the water, making the picture ripple. He watched it and began to quietly sing. "I'm lost in this place. Alopex, me he chased. I think she's lying about the things I gave her. The necklace with that pearl, and that little love crown. She doesn't want me to know. But the answer if I ask her, it'll be no.."

[Patches.]

Alopex flicked his ear in annoyance of Blossom's new harshness.

Shadow sighed and stopped. He had to do the round, to win her. Sadly, Shadow licked the water and walked head down to Blossom. "When's it starting.." the brute curiously whispered.
