It was tom and he carried a similar scent as this she-cat." it seems your brother is here." He said slightly guessing and darted up a tree. The dark tom watched from above with his tail flicking.

Whisperpaw watched him climb up the tree and she whirled around to look. "Why is it he always has to look out for me like I can't take care of myself?" She muttered, fur bristling.

He watched her his fur prickling. He hadn't been here for long but he was close, would the tom scent him?

Mothpaw entered the clearing spotting his sister "Oh good you haven't been stolen by any rouges" He hissed rudely "Why in Starclan are you wondering the woods by yourself in the dark," He rolled his eyes before he scented another cat "Unless. Your not alone are you..."

Tawnyfrost padded into the warriors den and lay down her her nest, unaware that her apprentice was out in the forest

Flamepelt nodded "Tomorrow we need to collect some Catmint, Borage leafs and Chervil" he said to his apprentice.

Whisperpaw let out a rude hiss. "Why should you care? If you were a better brother you wouldn't be so protective of me, I can take care of myself!" She snapped, lashing her tail. "You follow me around like I'm lost- like I can't find my way home. I'm tired of being treated like a kit!" She hissed. "Just go." she turned and sat grumpily.

"Maybe if you were a better sister you wouldn't get so jealous when I talk to anyone else!" Mothpaw spat at his sister and ran off "Drown for all I care, I won't be there to fish you out!"

"Maybe you should actually TALK TO YOUR SISTER, INSTEAD OF WITH A STUPID KIT!" Hissed Whisperpaw, but shut her mouth quickly. She sighed and looked back across the river and up at the tree. "you can come down now.." she meowed.

Mothpaw ran deeper into the forest, blocking his sister out of his head he ran past camp and towards the border
