A Mysterious Island||Multi-Fandom||Accepting!

River looked up in part interest, part shock; watching the cloud of birds gather as one and launch themselves at some unseen foe. She immediately started to move through the foliage towards the commotion, her Alpha Messon Blaster out just in case this was just a diversion. She stopped when she spotted the shimmer of a purple wall, and instantly deduced that it was a defensive barrier. "Who's hiding in there?!" She yelled angrily, "Acting like such a coward..."

Fascinating.
The leader has the ability to spontaneously combust.
Is it a defence mechanism?
Or is this how it hunts?
Either way, I'll need to either find a way to escape or to subdue all these birds.
I could eliminate most of them, but not without sustaining serious injury to myself.
Escape, then.
I send a final burst of power into the ground, causing the wall to flare outward, then arch my tentacles around my body, scorching the air at the point where they meet.
A purple laser of void energy erupts in front of me, carving through the wall of feathers like a knife through water.
I'm not sure if I hit the leader or not, but it's not really important.
I have learned what I needed to about this species.
I don't need the rest anymore.
"Thank you for your contribution,"
I say, once I've cleared a hole in the flock large enough for me to get through.
I begin to move again, away from the birds.
This island holds many secrets.
And I will have them.

The world was getting less dark, but the ringing was annoying. Katniss tried to open her eyes, but every time she tried, she was pulled into another five minutes of darkness. Get up, lazy bones! You've got work to do, you can't let that creature kill anyone! The voice was annoying, the way it was always telling her what to do. I am not lazy, I've fallen unconscious! the girl thought. Then another wave of darkness came.

Ra watched with horror as the creature killed 20 or so of his kin. Well, that was what he called other Mockingjays and Jabberjays, but it didn't matter. The creature used some sort of energy, Ra guessed. Ra was not amused, and he followed the being, and of course remembering it's words. It enraged him, and he shrieked to the others that they should leave and warn the others of this terribly murderous being. Ra followed it, attacking, diving, and shrieking to deafen it. Ra wished it would end, and thought about just leaving the creature alone and returning to the Archer Squad. But he knew that if he did that, than others would die. He couldn't let that happen. Thank you for your contribution, the being told them. What did this mean exactly? Was it studying them? Was it collecting souls? Simply causing death? Ra had seen many crazed and psychotic beings on this Island, but never had there been something quite like this. Until now.

Celty climbed off Scooter and ran over to Katniss. She checked the lady's pupils. "Hard fall.." She shakes her head. She gently turned Katniss' head to see if she could find where the Mockingjay's head had been impacted. She then looked back at the wall of energy. What the heck is that!? She looked to Scooter, watching as the bike turned to the mighty steed. She nodded. Scooter galloped off to investigate.

Clint lowered his bow, at the impending darkening sky. His mouth dropped, at the wild amount of birds. This was absolutely insane. "I was just wondering! You seemed to get along with him just fine!" He snapped at Katniss, trying to spot what they had all been flying at. Barton didn't mention his bird habits, such as sleeping like he was in a nest, and having bird meetings with Sam Wilson, aka the Falcon. Hawkeye wanted him and Sam to get together and fight crime some time. CLINT BARTON! his inner voice was now yelling at him, This is no time to think of stuff like that! "But I want to! Am I supposed to watch the birds?" He yelled at his inside voice, before hearing the horse squeal. "Perfect timing, Celty!" That was, of course, until he saw Katniss ram into something. Clint gasped. "KATNISS!" He shouted, running over and looking upwards. A purple wall, almost like Scarlett Witch's force field. Hawkeye looked upwards, before spying something horrifying defeating the birds. "What the hell is that?" Clint couldn't make it out too well, considering he was pressing his hands against Katniss' chest. As well as the birds blocking it.

Pietro Maximoff instantly frowned at the mention of a settlement. On a mysterious island like this, he could only imagine the buildings back in Russia where the Avengers had infiltrated. "Did you happen to see anybody there?" Maybe if Hiccup had see people in black attire, with red symbols and weaponry that was unique, Pietro would have an idea to what this place was. "People with guns? Military trucks? Concrete buildings?" He pushed for answers, shrugging. "Then again, they would probably try to take your dragon instead of being scared.....Nothing is too big of a threat to them, honestly," Quicksilver, although, never mentioned the name of the people he was talking about, unsure what was going on.

Helga suddenly put a hand against Deryn's mouth, mouthing the word Hush. A loud thumping sound was echoing throughout the air, a sound she had never heard before. It was very strange, as if a thousand birds had come together. "Do you hear that?" She whispered, pulling out a gun as she let go of the girl. Looking up, her jaw dropped as her blue eyes widened. She wasn't wrong. A large cloud of birds made everything darker than before. "Oh dear god. What is this?!" She stood up on the branch, holding out her gun I case any of them dove at the two. "Ever seen anything like that?" Sinclair shouted, wondering what the weird laser like noises were. Zeppelins, maybe? She was very confused.

((Should I put the Indomnius Rex on the Island? He'd be like causing terror and stuff cause he is a mixture of Spinosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Baryonyx, and Velociraptor.))

Hiccup shook his head at all the questions, "There was no one below when we flew over, but as time has gone by...perhaps there will be people who have camped out there" He offered, though he was anxious about anyone taking Toothless. The last time that happened, when the previous Alpha dragon took control of the dragon's mind that is, was when his father died at the hands of Toothless. He shook away the memory, glancing at his now Alpha Dragon friend. "Should we go towards it and find out? We're bound to find out something, this island is too odd"

It was dark. One, because it was already becoming evening. Two, because she had fainted earlier. Katniss' ears were still ringing, and she still couldn't open her eyes. The Mockingjay lay there, trying to understand what was going on by remembering what happened. So the Jabberjay had just flown back, check. Then some blasts of purple were shot at the bird, and then it let out a battle cry. Check. Then Katniss ran towards the giant cloud of Jabberjays and Mockingjays, check. She ran into a wall and fell unconscious. Yeah, things weren't exactly okay, but she hadn't really felt like this was strange. She had too much strange today. Finally the ringing in her ears stopped, and Katniss squinted.

"Steve, you appear to be cheerful." Gabriel pointed out casually, "And you're a little...hm...how do I say it...?" The archangel pondered, searching for the correct word or phrase, before clicking his fingers and giving a light, 'I got it' then spoke, "Out of character.."

After revieving his response, Legolas darted ahead, weapon at the ready, he wasn't going to let his guard down at all. Well, the giant flock of birds managed to surprise the elven archer. He jumped in the slightest but didn't forget his aim. Legolas entered the city cautiously, looking around swiftly, not leaving any dark corner unchecked. He narrowed his eyes, shifting out of the way as some debris crumbled beside him. He noticed the tallest building and didn't hesitate to scale it, not taking long to get to the highest point. This view was extraordinary. And helpful. The elf scanned all that he could see, making note of important places and things before he remembered he was pressed for time. Taking one last glance, Legolas reached the ground and then began to make his way to exit the city. {{ whoops , only just noticed rumple ^^ }} It was silent, quite pleasant really, but a voice surprised the elven prince and he span around, arrow drawn back and ready to fire, as he came to see a man. Light confusion masked the elf's face, not many people could sneak up on him, so it was odd to know someone actually managed. "...I was....returning to my friend."

Surprise was written over the celestial being's face but it soon changed back into his calm expression, "Why would you care for becoming a human? Goldfish would be far better." He questioned, genuinely curious.

Deryn gulped slightly when she heard that and got out her pistol for a moment. Deryn then replied "I never had seen anything like this." with a frown.

Lapis frowned, assuming their silence was agreement to the direction. She walked fairly quickly, but dared not run, for fear of leaving Puerto Rico behind. After several more steps, she spoke again. "Really, I'm not entirely sure my path is correct. If you'd like anything done differently, please inform me." She raised her voice a bit, compensating for her not turning around.

"We have doctors, yes,-" She began slowly. "-but they are few and not heavily relied on. Typically, clerics and priests are charged with moderating health." She paused and glanced over the man. "Really, anyone capable of wielding a stave could be considered a healer. But very few title themselves as a doctor." She hoped the explanation would suffice, due to their large cultural gap. Doctors were likely a more common title where he hailed from. Before she could voice her thoughts, Doctor Whale whispered, followed by a question directed to the woods. She tensed and grasped the hilt of her sword. "Who is there?" She unsheathed it and pointed toward the man emerging from the forest, taking immediate and probably unnecessary caution. "Who are you?" She kept the panic well hidden from her voice.
