@handel. - lovely art and family
A bit sad and kinda venting/letting my thoughts so putting this in code so for those that don't care can skip over it. Yeah, thanks- Code: Select all
I understand the non-owners being sad over not being able to win a plumie or in general just don't have one yet cause it seems you can't really participate in the community because of it, I as well felt the same way when I first joined. And it does seem rather challenging to actually get one. I personally kinda don't mind if the non-owners express their sadness a little, cause what are you to do? Bottle it inside? It's healthy to show some sadness.
But when you flat out just whine and complain about it the effect is going to be opposite of what your trying to get. When you post here how your sooooo sad and depressed over not winning a plumie and how everyone's form is always better than yours and going on and on how you'll never win or posting on the contest when it's closed for judging how you wish everyone good luck and that you'll most likely not win is only guilt tripping at that point. The judges don't want to have to see that cause it throws off their judging and your only pushing potential friends in the community away from you as no one wants to associate with someone who complains.
What really irritates me the most though is when these whiners and complainers won't take help when it offered. Someone who is taking their time out to help you, offering help and is doing it to be nice and help you out, and you completely blow them off. At that point I don't believe the non-owners are wanting to win and rather have something to whine about. Seriously, you say you need help but won't take it when someone offers it, I don't see that as you wanting to actually win otherwise you'd take all the help you could get.
Now I do understand if someone is offer you to use their plumie in your form, you need to be a bit more picky about that since your idea might not fit with their plumie, but when your offered help with coding, feedback, and art and you totally blow them off then quite frankly all I have to say is I hope it takes you forever to win one. Overall general help isn't something you can be picky about as a non-owner, since having the more amount of help and feedback bumps your chances of winning. It doesn't mean you have a full blown chance of winning but the chances are higher. But if your whining and complaining cause you want a specific person's help and hoping they'll feel sorry for you and help you then you obviously aren't interested in getting a plumie.
So to that I say phew to you and stop complaining/guilt tripping.
And to those of you that I wasted your time with this crap rant I appreciate you taking your time to read this and would love to give appreciation artwork. Send a pm titled 'rant' and a link to your plumie and I'll send you a sketch or colored bust (my choice of which one I want to do).
