Riverlight

I bounced along the rainforest floor. I couldn't see anything, but I could smell damp earth, rain, and flowers. And fear scent. I blinked my eyes open, and was immediately dizzy. Underneath me was dirt, racing by. Cold wet fur was bouncing against me. It was two other kittens: One with dark gray fur the color of the sky I could see through the trees, and the other was brown with a white chest, paws, and nose. Then suddenly I fell to the cold, hard ground and rolled under a fern. Just in time, because a blaze of yellow and black went speeding by. Then I heard an anguished wail followed by two smaller, thinner cries. "Help!" I wail. "Help! Help me!" I wake up screaming for help.

(Ooh, Stormfur should come to see what's wrong. DRAMAAAA!!!!!)
