Melody: I walked up to the counter and paid for the books then returned to the girl and her cat. "I'm Melody by the way." I smiled and held out my hand for a handshake.

She slowly peeked over the top of her "Learn the ABC's" book and saw a girl smiling. Naomi's tooth protruded from her lip as she grinned as well, her tail flicking playfully. She closed the book, placing it beside her, then extending her hand to the girl, "Hiya, Naomi's my name, what's yours?"

She doesn't really know. Naomi glanced over to her book and quickly placed it back where she'd found it, growing embarrassed that someone had seen her in the kids section.
