@wolfsong-mapleflame
I'm glad you're so happy with her. I was really worried the melanism wouldn't turn out well with the overall sunny look.

@Ruby-Skylark
I'm glad you think everything looks good. My main concern is people finding and exploiting loopholes. I've actually had a little trouble with that, primarily with people trying to get significant discounts on adopts.

to answer you on the main thread- I think there should be a 'pound' for the unclaimed bettas.

Hmm, about the only thing I can think of for Easter is a hunt, but you said you didn't want to do that. Umm, maybe raffle them off? That's not very unique, but I can't think of much right now!

For the leftovers, wolfsongs pound idea could work. Maybe something like free to new adopters and a fee for previous adopters if they want one, like maybe an uncommon or something? Or again, try raffling them off, maybe with like a limited amount of spots for each one and people can only enter for one.

I think that's a good idea...or you could just keep them up there until they're adopted :) You could even have small raffles for some of them.

Edit: @TrixiePixie Raawr, you basically said what I was going to say :x ;)
From now until the summer, I will not be coming on CS as much as I used to. If I have adopted from your adopt, please PM me. I am trying to give most of them back (look below). HOWEVER, I WILL STILL PARTICIPATE IN RPS. I love them too much! <3

Hey-I'm giving away most of my chars. If you're interested in one of them please PM me! Also, most are going to be FCFS.

NOTE: I AM NOW SEMI-QUITTING! BE SURE TO ADOPT SOME OF MY PETS!!!
Also, if anybody has a Malk dragon they are willing to trade...I really, really want at least one, and I'm willing to overpay.

Bye!
P.S. This siggy is a WIP (: and will
probably never be finished ):

The pound would be the most likely, with either the fee TrixiePixie suggested or a one per week limit. Just something to make sure one person doesn't grab them all before others have a chance.

A raffle might work for the Easter Bettas. Maybe even have it a bit of a surprise and only tell people the colors without showing them the actual images?

Maybe an egg coloring contest? People color an egg at home and then take a picture? If you had, say, 5 Easter bettas then you could pick the best five pictures and give each winner one of the bettas. That might get some interest in the trade thread afterwards, people may decide to trade each other?

Going on what you said about it being a surprise, you could draw up a quick Easter basket design with similar colors to the bettas and that way no one will know for sure what the betta looks like until after.

Well so far I've got 10 of them, but I might end up stealing one if I can pick between my two favorites. :lol: Since I'm going for two colors per Betta and pretty much all pastels, I'm not sure if I can make many more than what I've got.

Sorry, late to the party on this discussion :lol: I had to go out and pick up my new glasses ;)

1. I think a Pound is a very good idea, that then seperates unclaimed Dream Bettas from any new litters you're waiting to post.

2. For the Spring Tea Maid, I think just a raffle would be fine, if there are no significant line edits, a raffle gives everyone an equal chance to win her (or him) :thumbup:

3. I love the idea of an egg colouring competition to win an Easter Betta :mrgreen:
Maybe you could find a free easter egg lineart and let anyone colour it in if they want to win a betta?
The fish colour closest to their egg colour could be their prize?
But again, if it ends up being too much work for Ciriun, then there's not much point. You do so much for us already *hug*

4. As for our discussion on mutations, I am happy with the odds of a mutation from a parent already having it being the same as a Limited Edition edit parent passing the line edit on, that seems quite fair :thumbup:

And now, I would like to introduce my newest little Teamaid beauty...this is Meg :mrgreen:
She's from my special breeding, and she turned out absolutely gorgeous! I love her to bits \o/

I like the egg coloring contest idea, but maybe not judging by color. (Spoiler: they're all primary and secondary colors.) Hm, perhaps a few different categories? Like most creative, funniest, most elegant, that sort of thing?

And Ruby_Skylark, I am glad you're so happy with Meg. I also just want to say that I really love hearing about the names and personalities and stuff that you guys have given your adopts. Yet another reminder that I've got to get to work on that roleplay...

I'm happy with whatever you decide for the egg contest :thumbup:
I need to work on my other Teamaids personalities :lol:
