Dear girls and guys who are singing,
If you could stop whining, that would be great.
I mean really, I came to the first rehearsal along with maybe two other girls and one guy. And it wasn't decided by my mom to take time out of our lessons.
Maybe try listening to the accompaniment and hearing a cello helping the boys who, despite doing just fine, apparently can't listen to the others who are singing, the piano, and the cello. And don't you get defensive at me when I say "well, they can listen to the music" while GESTURING AT THE PIANO. Don't get into my face about it-it's not my fault.
And whatever you said about the slurs and other accents being "unnecessary", what? You may be able to read music, but did you arrange this piece? No. In fact, you probably don't know the person who did. It's the nuances in the accents, dynamics, ect. that make a piece of music beautiful. They are necessary. Just because you don't think they aren't, doesn't make it that way. AND STOP WHISPERING IN BETWEEN THINGS. STOP IT. Even if you aren't quietly complaining, it's still annoying and disrespectful.
Sincerely,
an EXTREMELY vexed Viola.
