CHARMINKS

[BASIC INFORMATION]
Charminks are incredibly fluffy canines about the size of a big rabbit with short legs and long, fluffy tails that usually curl upwards towards the end. You will mostly find them- in packs of 10 or more- in cold regions, although they can easily exist anywhere as long as it isn't too hot or sandy, as their thick fur does not deal well with those things.

[CHARMS]
The name Charminks comes from their habit of carrying paper charms on their body, fastened onto ring piercings or other sorts of accessories. Type and colour of each charm differ for every individual, generally more charms mean a higher rarity and ranking in the pack, as additional charms can be earned through events and other special achievements (such as outstanding bravery et cetera).

The way we met, it was so unsuspected. You could say that things for just a coincidence or a fluke. But we'd both say it was destiny. This Charmink and I met on a sunny say when I was out looking for a new pet or companion. I was wanting a cat like any normal human but the pet store seemed to have been out. With my spirits down I walk home. As you may not know I have to pass through a small stretch of thick woods to get to the small cabin I call home. Halfway through the woods I sit on a stump, still kind of sad. I knew the only way to cheer myself up was to eat some of my most favorite comfort food. Chocolate. However, before I could take a bite I could hear a rustling in front of me. Startled stood up very quickly. This must have frightened the animal before all too suddenly a big ball of fur rolled from bush in which the creature had been hiding. At first glance I though the animal was simply a cat! What luck!
Crouching a hold out my hand towards the charmink with a smile only to have it shy away slightly with folded ears. Still at this point I did not register that this was not a cat as I was more worried about getting him to come closer. Befuddled by he wouldn't come closer I took a pause before I noticed that the eyes of the creature were on my other hand. Looking down I remember that I was holding my chocolate. Of course! He must be hungry. So I leaned forward and held out my right hand this time, the one holding my chocolate and sure enough he came creeping forward. At first he was hesitant of taking the candy in my hand and only took a quick bite. However after swallowing and realizing I was friendly he quickly came forward and took the rest.
It was in THIS moment that I realize I was dealing with something other than a cat. At first I just kind of stared at the thing that was rubbing up against my leg LIKE a cat but...I was OK with it.
Kneeling down again I pick up the Charmink and grin. "I'll name you Fluke."
