"My name is Clarity," she spoke quietly to the girl. She could tell the girl was in a lot of pain, and she could hear the fear in her her voice. "I won't hurt you, just tell me what happened." As she waited for a response she wondered what she could do. Maybe I could take her to the hospital, she thought reluctantly. She didn't like the idea of going out in public after avoiding other people for so long, but she knew she would have to if it meant helping the strange girl.

She heard Clarity's thought clearly inside her mind, she almost panicked and started screaming but she didn't have the strengh "No, please don't take me to the hospital, they are looking for me!" she said with a painful look on her face "Please" she begged, she still didn't know if she could trust the girl "Maybe she just sells me like my mother did but she knew she couldn't do anything else but explain evrything to her "They trapped me and did weird experiments on me and my brother but we managed to escape, well I least I did, they, they killed my brother, he sacrified himself for me" she cried

Clarity couldn't bear watching the pain on the girl's face, and returned to the darkness of her own eyes. Now being blind, her irises had turned an icy blue and she didn't look directly at the other girl. "You're like me then?" Clarity said. Of course she had known there were others like her out there, but she had rarely encountered any. "You don't have to worry, I might know of another place where you can get help," she added after thinking a moment. She had heard of a warehouse where a group of people like her had gathered, and knew it wasn't very far from where they were. She had never really thought much of it though, preferring to be on her own.

"Sometimes trusting people quickly can be a mistake," he replied simply. "And from what I've heard, most of these people seem to be new here. You have no idea about their pasts." He wasn't going to let this person he had just met make him angry. He'd had a short temper when he was younger, but had quickly realized retaliating only gave people the satisfaction they wanted. He thought about using his power to make this girl leave him alone, but decided it was better not to make any enemies right off. "I don't think I asked what your name was," he said instead.

She looked at the girls eyes "I don't want help, I want my brother back" she said honestly, nothing seemed to have sence anymore, not without him, she didn't want to keep living in this world where even her parents had betray them, and with his brother dead she had now no one she could trust or fully trust, this girl seemed nice but still she didn't have any interest in getting help from other people that would help her and then betray her whe they realized sometihng was wrong with her

"There's nothing I can do for your brother, but If he gave his life for you then you need to survive," she said softly. Then she looked back through Jade's eyes, and her own changed to brown. Based on the the eye color of the person or animal she was looking through, her own eyes turned that color. "I know of a group of people like us," she said when she could see the girl again. "And they're people who want to fight against the ones who are trying to experiment on us. If you join then they will heal you and you can keep those people from hurting anyone else," she said.

She knew what the girl was saying was true, she could read her mind to proove it and she was right, she had to avenge her brother and then she could die without feeling any regret "Ok, then can you take me with them?" she asked standing up

brooklyn [ tagged - warren ]
At Warren's attempt to defend himself, Brooklyn bit her tongue. He had a point, but what Brooklyn had said earlier wasn't meant to be taken the way he had taken it. That didn't mean she regretted saying it, but it only have her a reason to add her own feelings of agitation to the tension that had nestled between the two when Warren began to give of an air of annoyance towards the girl. It died down slightly as he prompted her for her name, but Brooklyn replied with a tone of disinterest, as though what he had previously said about 'knowing nothing about their pasts' had bored her.
"No, you didn't. It's Brooklyn." She glanced too the side for a moment, too see if the scene around them had changed at all, but it appeared relatively the same. Not many people had moved, and if they had, it was simply to change their position on the floor. They all seemed rather distant from each other. Turning back to the newbie I'm front of her, Brooklyn continued, "Where did you come from, anyways? Directly before you came here." Was it's nosy question? Yes. And would his probable answer be either the doctors or that she had just inquired a rude question? Probably. But Brooklyn didn't mind. She saw no reason for him to keep his most recent location from the group.

"Yes," Clarity nodded, hoping the girl would be able to walk there without too much trouble. "What's your name by the way?" But as she asked the question her mind was in a different place. She had always been on her own, and had never had any interest in joining the group at the warehouse. But she did have to admit to herself that things got lonely sometimes. Maybe I'll just stay for a couple of days, she thought.

"I found an abandoned cabin, so I stayed there for awhile," Warren answered truthfully. He didn't really see the point in keeping where he'd come from a secret, and guessed there was probably a mind reader somewhere in the group who could figure it out anyways. "It was okay, actually. Until people burned it down. I heard about this place from... A friend. So I decided to come here." After pausing for a moment he asked, "What about you?"

She tried to get up holding to the tree were she had been laying on, she stopped for a few seconds until she was stable, she looked at the girl "My name is Alex" she said walking a few steps "Ok, I am ready"

"Okay, follow me," Clarity said before walking in the direction of the warehouse. She'd remembered the way in case she ever needed to go there, and was thankful she had. "This is Jade by the way," she pointed to her kestrel. "I guess you could call her my seeing eye bird," she said with a small smile. It always looked unnatural when Clarity smiled, since her her emotions never reached her eyes, and she knew that. But it didn't stop her from doing it.

She looked at her confused, she could read her mind so it was easy for her to detect her emotions but still it was weird not seinf them in her eyes "I like her, she looks beautiful" she said unsure, she was too depressed to start a conversation and she could tell that Clarity was chatty neither so she limited to follow her making sure she had trees near her just in case she needed to hold onto something
